Needed 1 tree cutting down completely and a large conifer reduced by 40%. Took 2 e-mails to get a response to make an appointment. Guy turns up, assesses what needed doing and gave me an instant quote which I accepted. I saw him write the agreed date and time in his diary which he confirmed by writing it on the back of a booklet which he gave to me.
Never showed up to do the work, never contacted me to explain why
Wasted an afternoon waiting in for him to show.
If people don't want the work then say so at the time rather than leading me on.

Couldn't recommend Nick Bailey Tree Surgeons highly enough. They removed trees from my garden in Stockport and were reasonably priced, excellent communication throughout and the guys who undertook the works were friendly, efficient and left everywhere as very tidy. Really impressed.

I am delighted with the crown lift and prune to our gigantic conifer. The guys from Nick Bailey are there to work hard and that’s all they do, they even turned down a cup of tea, which was a first for me!! Garden left a lot tidier than when they arrived too. A very well deserved 5 stars. Thank you!

A truly brilliant service from start to finish. We had a very large Chesney tree in our garden that obstructed not just our light, but also that of our neighbour. The whole process was handled by this company and they did a very neat and tidy job. Would highly recommend!

This is the first time we have used Nick and the team. We needed to fell two trees and prune 3 others.
Excellent professional service from start to finish. Competitive price, showed up exactly when they said to do the job and cleaned up afterwards. Most importantly the pruned trees still look natural. Everyone in the team was really helpful and happy to answer any questions and deal with any request we had. The team even cut and karted one of the felled tree’s to where we requested so that we can split and season for our wood burner. Great experience, will definitely use again.

Nick and his friendly team took down an ash tree from our garden that was showing signs of disease. The whole process, from the initial site visit to the removal was very professional and we are delighted with the result. The team was respectful of our garden and those of our neighbours who were affected by the work, and they took great care to leave our garden very tidy.

We have a row of oak trees at the side of our garden which were taking light. Nick and his team arrived just after 08:00; they were courteous and helpful and set about their task in an extremely professional manner. The outcome exceeded our expectations and would have absolutely no qualms in recommending them and using them again.

We’ve now used Nick Bailey tree surgeons on a few occasions. They come when they say they will, they do a good job, they don’t leave until you’re happy with the work and they leave everywhere clean and tidy. I also felt I paid a fair price so all in all I can heartily recommend them and we’ll definitely be using them again.

The quotation was given on site. The operatives arrived on the right day and early. The work was carried out very efficiently and the site was left clean and tidy.

The team cut down 3 enormous water willows which were actually touching the roof of our house.
