Anxious about this holiday from the…

Anxious about this holiday from the beginning and wished that we had not made the booking due to some unrealistic rules and requests, could not relax at all. Views lovely and hosts friendly, but cottage did not feel spacious as photos showed. Oldie worldie feel but could not sleep in the old beds. Could not settle in as concerns of safety, heaters and some clutter and cleanliness issues. Would recommend cleaning after every visitor as dust and clothes can drop behind furniture and build up quickly. Not comfortable in winter weather.

Stunning view and a fabulous cottage

We visited in early June during a heatwave, fortunately the thick stone walls of the cottage kept us nice and cool.

Chrissie, Merfyn and their dogs were very welcoming. The cottage is thoughtfully furnished and well equipped.

Our dogs enjoyed the extensive secure gardens and we often visited the private bay on the lake to sit in the shade and enjoy the spectacular view. The local trails are stunning, it’s incredibly peaceful.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit
