I purchased my Ola scooter in *November 2023* , and since day one, it has been a nightmare with constant, unresolved issues:
*Frequent Shutdowns:*
The vehicle used to shut down randomly on the road — more than 25–30 times. I had to physically drag it from the middle of the road to the side, often in harsh weather or during peak traffic. I’ve missed office, delayed work, and faced countless moments of helplessness. The service center told me, “It will stop after 5000 km” — an unacceptable excuse for such a serious problem.
*Horn Malfunction:*
The horn would suddenly go off on its own and wouldn’t stop until a full reset was done. This happened around 15 times — causing embarrassment and chaos in public places and traffic.
*Rear Tyre Issue:*
The rear tyre got punctured five times in a row. I couldn’t even take it to a normal puncture shop because I was never told that only the service center personnel could open the rear tyre. This is essential information that should’ve been communicated at the time of purchase.
*Battery Failure in Vacation Mode:*
Before going out of station, I enabled vacation mode with a 90% charge. On return, the vehicle was completely dead. The service center then informed me that the battery had failed and needed replacement — costing ₹20,000 to ₹40,000. This is completely unjustified.
At no point during the purchase was I informed about these risks, limitations, or failures. If vacation mode does not ensure battery safety, it should have been clearly communicated. The lack of such critical information and the constant issues have made it impossible to rely on or properly use the vehicle.
You have sold me a product riddled with flaws — a product I’ve barely been able to use without any flaw at a point of time. Despite raising multiple complaints, I’ve only received delays, vague excuses, and now a huge bill for your failures.
