This company have got to be one of the…

This company have got to be one of the best online companies I have bought from.the product is good and very good value for money.the hearing aids were delivered in a matter of days.they were my 1st hearing aid purchase and I was obviously apprehensive but the customer services have been excellent.they answer very promptly if I have a query.Denise has been so helpful.thanks.

WARNING: DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered Otiphonic chargeable hearing aids for my husband, which arrived on the 8th of November at a cost of £149.
Unfortunately they had to be returned due to them not fitting his ear canals correctly as the aids are quite large in size.
There was also a lot of feedback (whistling) with them.
They were returned just 2 days later, and I have to admit that they were packaged even better than the way they were sent out. The cost of returning was £18 and sent by Royal Mail tracked delivery.
They arrived at their destination at Otiphonic, Grand Rapids USA on 20th November.
Today is the 28th November and I AM STILL WAITING for my refund!
I have just read other reviews in relation to returns and refunds and I am extremely annoyed with myself that I did not check all reviews prior to ordering......had I known then there is no way that I would have ordered from this company!
Unless I receive my refund by the end of the day, then I will have no other option but to contact all websites advertising and selling these aids to leave a negative review, so that others may not be scammed!
The website is also extremely misleading to customers here in UK, who would most likely be totally unaware that that it is an American site.
I will also contact USA.gov to advise them of Otiphonic's extremely poor service to overseas clients, and the possibility of the business being a fraudulent company.
Where as I understand that £149 isn't a huge amount of money, I do not see why this company should get away with conning people out of their hard earned cash! 😡
I have tried to leave a review on their website on two occasions, however they will not publish negative reviews, only positive feedback 😡
You just could not make this up! 🙈

So today is the 1st December and I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND!
My next step is to contact the Federal Trade Commission in USA to report this fraudulent company, and I would advise others to do so.
You can do this by completing an online form or by calling or writing to them!
I will update as soon as I hear from them!

So I have just completed a form on the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION and have a report number.
They will now continue to look in to the fraudulent activity of this company.
I would advise others to follow suit!

Just received the following reply from Otiphonic stating that I have received my refund......NO OTIPHONIC I HAVE NOT!
I rreturned the hearing aids within 2 days of receiving them, and they were delivered back to you on 20th November.
As stated earlier, today is the 1st December and still no sign of the refund!
I do not agree with your reply.

Friday 1st December 17.45 p.m.
FINALLY....... My bank has just received the refund that I have been waiting for!
Thank you Otiphonic, however it should be totally unnecessary for clients to have to go through such measures in an effort to receive what is owed to them!
For a client to be expected to wait for a refund 12 days from the date of you taking receipt of their return, is unacceptable!

Many times the CIC, completely in canal, hearing aids do not fit well enough because while we include different sized domes, we do not customize from an ear mold. This process is for custom aids that cost thousands. We followed the process of receiving your return back, and issuing a full refund. We help so many people hear better at a reasonable cost, and if they don’t work out for folks, we keep our promise, we get the return back and we give customers their money back. Every single time. Sorry the refund was not fast enough for you, but if we don’t wait for the return to get to us, then unfortunately, many people would keep using their aids and take their money back. You were also advised each step of the way of how the process works and when your money would be back. We have evidence of all off this.

Brilliant hearing aids for the money

I don't write many reviews, I don't generally trust them. I can only say my hearing aids arrived earlier than expected. They are absolutely brilliant, reducing my tinnitus from a high pitch ringing to a lower pitch which I prefer. Even in a crowded room I can clearly hear what people are saying, which isn't always a plus. I have not needed to deal with customer support so I can not comment on that. Quality wise they are as good as a pair my sister paid thousands for. Even if they don't last I would not hesitate to buy again.

A note of caution for UK customers

The hearing devices I bought seemed very prone to feedback at even moderate volume levels and not sure they were better than very budget devices available on auction sites.

I had an issue with their 45 Day Money Back Guarantee as their website says that they will provide a return label but, despite buying from a site aimed and advertised at UK customers, priced in GBP, they provide a return address in the USA, with no return label.

I'm editing this review as the problem has since been resolved with their customer service and I believe that they are looking at their returns policies and options but, if you're in the UK, it might be worth double-checking the situation with them before purchase.

We also supply high quality in ear hearing aids, but we do recognize that in ear units are sensitive and can have feedback issues. The behind the ear products are more consistent in avoiding buzz or feedback. This is true industry wide, not just with our hearing aids. We are evaluating our 25% restocking fee policy, and may reduce it going forward, it still only applies for preference returns, no deduction or fee is made for product that is damaged or not working. We will give you a 100% refund, and thanks again for letting us know about your experience, sorry it did not meet your expectations.

follow up to my last post, after 4 weeks of not receiving my hearing aids, i asked for a full refund and they emailed next day saying money would be in bank in 5 days. guess what..it was in in 2 days. just a pity the hearing aids didn't arrive as quick.

I purchased a pair of hearing aids from the vendor. I contacted the vendor by email (no response) to tell them I was awaiting delivery of the product - no response. Then, one day, the product got delivered, but it was too late as the person who wanted them had left. Therefore, I emailed them to say that I no longer needed the hearing aids as they came many many days after the order was placed. Received a response from a "Denise B" asking for reason, to which I responded. I am still waiting!! I was hoping to get some instructions on how to return the item and get a full refund.
Otiphonic - please do good and provide a refund.

Scam site..

Ordered the new rechargable hearing aids from this company (otiphonic) thinking as they were so much cheaper than normal hearing aids.. I paid the £149.00 and waited for the hearing aids to be delivered. Didn't get as much as an email to let me know they had shipped and suddenly they turned up at my door.. I was delighted but upon opening the box and seeing what was inside was definitely not what I had ordered and was not what was advertised..
I emailed the company stating that they were not what I had ordered and that I would like a refund... Well the hearing aids I ordered were rechargable BTE hearing aids ice silver ones. What I did get were ugly brown plastic ones that are so out of date.. I still haven't heard back from the company regarding sending these back but did suddenly get an email saying I had recieved a refund to my surprise has not shown up in my partners bank account.. So advice for anyone thinking of buying from these guys... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.. False advertising and they charged me £15 for these ugly hearing aids so I have been scammed out my money.. You do not get what you ordered from their suppose legitimate website..

Caveat Emptor

Items arrived defective would not accept charge.
Spent weeks chasing "Customer Service" trying to get a solution, their system sends autobot reply saying they will respond within 48 hours (rubbish)
Don't try to ring either just an answer phone which is not dealt with.
Eventually after some 20 days of chase up finally got instructions to return.
Posted recorded next day signed for delivery. No acknowledgement from company that they had arrived.
Started chasing up sending emails to get a refund nope still waiting. I had also foolishly paid extra for 12 months insurance.
Company dragged responding paying back into new month contacted my bank to claim funds back via Mastercard as these jokers clearly are not paying me back.
Monday 10 July 2023, I received an email from otiphonic saying I had been refunded, untrue also amount mentioned in email did not include the insurance. At time of writing this I am still awaiting a refund.
DO NOT USE THESE SCAMNERS.
I would like to leave zero stars but system won't allow it.

I have been sending e-mails to this company regarding a return of package since 25.05.23 with absolutely no feedback.

How can they say returns are easy if they do not reply to any e-mails send. All I want is a return label to send goods back. Cannot see what the problem is.

Just received a reply on this matter saying all dissatisfied customers had been refunded. Not true I have never been contacted and never been given a refund
