Quite Literally Value for Money
I have been using Perks at Work for many years (even after leaving the the employer who offered it originally). There is wide range and variety of discounts/deals available and it is easy to avail these. Sheer brilliance at service requests.
The voucher are quickly created as per the request. Today I was having trouble use the Amazon voucher, sent a message asking for help and within a few hours I was guided on how I could access my voucher. I have been able to purchase my item on the very same day. It’s so quick and convenient to collect points as you go.
Not worth it
Don't bother using it for cinema tickets, it costs more than booking direct with the Odeon cinema once you add on the "upgrades" eg isense screen. However, you only know what the upgrade fee are once you have purchased the vouchers and then try and use them. Customer service don't care!

The company misleads customers
The company misleads customers on cinema ticket pricing. I've been a long-term, loyal customer who trusted that they sell cinema ticket vouchers at consistently lower prices than the cinemas they've partnered with. They promote themselves on this and I trusted them for it but lost out as a result.
The details of my purchase are as follows:
After having purchased ticket vouchers with PerksAtWork on 03/02/2024 and visited the Cineworld website to book tickets, I learnt that ticket prices to book directly with Cineworld were significantly lower than using the vouchers.
The film in question was Argylle on 06/02/2024 at 18:50. It was a surprise to find PerksAtWork's business partner Cineworld charged an extra £3.95 at the point of checkout per ticket which, when added to the non-refundable £7.99 paid to PerksAtWork, totalled £11.94. Simply booking direct with Cineworld and not using PerksAtWork would have been £9.94; £2 cheaper and easier to book.
Does this not seem sneaky for their business partner to have hidden a large extra fee and only revealed it at the checkout after paying PerksAtWork a non-refundable sum of money?
Looking at other times and other films, I learnt this pattern of overcharging versus booking direct affected a mix of other choices of bookings. It was persistent.
I reported this to PerksAtWork in the hope that this was a systemic error and they would resolve it quickly, either by refunding me so I can book with Cineworld directly at a lower cost or by speaking with their business partner Cineworld to remove the surprise £3 fee being added at checkout. The PerksAtWork representative who replied assured me they would resolve it by speaking with Cineworld urgently but they did not give any updates and did not respond to repeated emails requesting updates. It's 22 days later and they've still not responded.
We missed the film. Don't trust this company.

Update on 05/10/2024: They haven't changed their ways. I chose to give them another chance by purchasing a voucher for a cinema ticket with Vue. A ticket for a standard seat for a film while booking directly with Vue is £11.99. The voucher had an impressive price of £7 but when you use it on the Vue website for purchasing the ticket, a £4 fee is added out of the blue. This might be a £1 saving but it's shocking to find such a lack of transparency about pricing and such a disregard for their customers.
