Written by the company

I’m Manju Pillai, and I started PT Publications in 2019 after years of tutoring children preparing for 11+ entrance exams across South London. The same issue kept coming up with my own students: most practice papers on the market were either far too easy, unrealistically difficult, or nothing like the actual format used by the schools themselves. So I began writing my own papers to use in lessons. Other tutors started asking for copies, word spread, and PT Publications grew from there. Today, we produce school-specific 11+ practice papers for Wilson’s, Nonsuch, Sutton Grammar, Tiffin Boys, Tiffin Girls, Wallington Boys, Wallington Girls, St Olave’s, QE Boys, Henrietta Barnett, Kent Grammar schools and independent schools. Each paper is written specifically for the school it’s intended for, using the closest possible format, style, timing and difficulty level to the real exams. Some are multiple-choice, some are standard written papers, and some are second-stage style papers for schools that shortlist candidates. One thing that matters to us is making the papers genuinely useful for learning, not just testing. Our maths papers include fully worked solutions rather than just answer sheets, so children can understand where they went wrong and how to improve. Writing tasks are marked with detailed examiner-style feedback that parents and tutors can actually use. All of our papers are written by my team and me, who still teach 11+ students every week. Many of the papers are trialled with real students before publication. Everything is available as an instant digital download. Once purchased, the papers are yours permanently — no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no ongoing memberships. We’re still a small business, and I still read and reply to every email personally. If you’re unsure which papers to start with or have any issues with your purchase, you can contact me directly at enquiries@ptpublications.co.uk. — Manju Pillai Founder, PT Publications
