Very unreliable website-scamming sellers

Very unreliable website. Avoid at all cost.

I ordered refurbished iPhone with the option of new battery (between optimal/new and I chose new, and you pay more for new battery)

After I got my order, I saw the battery was a completely worn out one.

So I contact the seller and seller decides for me that I return the shipment. NO acknowledgment or apology for inaccurate handling of my order. I order a phone to use, not to waste time setting up and returning and be left without a phone.

In my message to seller, I searched again on refurbed.com to show them my exact order option is still available in their shop with same price (to prove I ordered with new battery) After they read this, they removed the phone from their stock and sent me a photo;

The photo that is on the pure white background, two lines saying “battery: optimal” to tell me I ordered without new battery. Which is a lie.

And seller sends me on his own initiative the return label and orders me to return within 7 days, which is against their own rule of 30 day return. I decide as a customer when I ask for return label, not them.

I would advise to check out BackMarket instead. There after I paid, I could see that I chose new battery. So at least nobody will lie to you that you didn’t choose new battery.

On refurbed, after I completed my order, the order detail left out the battery choice. Now I know it was deliberate. This was a huge red flag.

I do not know if it’s deliberate action of the seller(bafobu-who ships from Estonia ) or refurbed, but I advise to avoid this website at all cost if you don’t want to waste your time.

Mixed experience

I experienced difficulties with my order which were probably outside of Refurbed’s control. Initially I had a poor response from the customer care team . However matters improved and were resolved very quickly, once I was put in touch with Francisco, who managed the process efficiently and with courtesy . I received a full refund.
