Disgraceful Customer Service after 52 emails.
Bought a phone from Refurbed.ie and it arrived in terrible condition; the screen was scratched badly, phone was filthy with make-up on it from the previous owner, the battery was dissipating quickly and the charging port wasn't working correctly.
I contacted Refurbed by email and they told me to return it via their nominated shipping partner. I did, and the phone went 'missing' between there and Refurbed, thankfully I retained the shipping receipt.
3 months later; I am still being asked to complete the same forms again and again, and receiving the same brush off emails from 5 or so staff members when I simply want a replacement or refund. Refurbed have told me that they've sent a replacement phone that appears to be 'stuck' in France ....and this is something that requires 'me' to fill out more forms because their carrier has failed....again.
All receipts and records of postage have been provided, as have videos and photos of the poor quality of the phone but it doesn't seem to matter! Refurbed are continually frustrating the honouring of European Consumer Law and it now appears that the only way I am to recover the cost of this phone is to make a claim under the European Small Claims Procedure, which I will.
Do yourself a favour, stay well away from Refurbed.

Formal Complaint and Final Request for Resolution

Since 17.04.2026, I have been waiting for my phone to be returned to me. On 27 May 2026, I received a message from the company stating that the shipment had been returned to Rome due to an address error caused during their internal handling process.
This situation is completely unacceptable. For more than a month, I have experienced delays, misinformation, and repeated internal mistakes. I fulfilled all my obligations as a customer, yet the company has proven incapable of managing the return process properly.
At this point, apologies are no longer sufficient. I requested either:
the confirmed delivery of my phone to the correct address without further delay, or
full financial compensation for the damages and costs caused by this situation.
If the matter is not resolved immediately, I will proceed with legal action and escalate the case to the appropriate consumer protection and legal authorities.
Very disappointing customer service experience.

Sent a laptop back within 12 months…

Sent a laptop back within 12 months warranty and they claim someone has been scratching the motherboard.
When it's never been opened. Even tho each item is refurbished if any work has been inside any devise they use as an excuse to make sure your warranty is void.
I won't be coming back here again
