Stop trying to con people

We went to visit their show room as advertised in their website having made an appointment with them where they ask what furniture you would like to see. When we finally reach the shabby warehouse after a 2 hours drive, there was nothing even similar to see there and the person who served us was uninterested, abrupt and unhelpful. A real shortcoming from their website to the reality of their show room and customer service.

They cancelled my May review, so here I am, writing it again. This is a FRAUDOLENT COMPANY - avoid at all costs. In May 2025 we purchesed this item (Gabriel sofa - 200 cm). The sofa we received was nothing like the one advertised on the website. Weilai refused to take it back and I had to sell the awful sofa on Gumtree for 25% of what we paid. Simply check the pictures below. We are currently reporting them to Trading Standards.

To have an idea of what a disreputable company this is, simply Google them, DO NOT browse thei website - these reviews are AI generated. I only hope that nobody else gets deceived like we did.

PS If you continue to cancel my review I'll simply republish it every day.

I Ordered a Keter Bike Shed in January which has not been delivered and we are now in the middle of May!
Cannot contact them as all emails have bounced back as undeliverable.

After returning a damaged item following their instruction and policy I am still waiting for my refund. I have been contacting them for almost 2 weeks without a reply and now their site is not working either.

This is a clear fraud and it will be reported accordingly.

Order cancelled without any notification, website went offline shortly after order placement for Hans Wegner CH3 Oak chairs. Seem to be closely linked to Weilai Concept (website design, function and product range very very similar) which are questionable dropshippers with seemingly no UK stock. (Order number #9163032)

Total scam!!!
After 1 week that i placed order they cancelled it without an explaination and i didn't received my refound...DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!

This is my second review of Satonia after buying a second piece of furniture from them, this time a three seater, leather Barbican sofa. I ordered it and was then told it was out of stock (although it was marked as deliverable within days on their website). I was given a 4-6 week lead time, and I agreed to wait. To be honest, I’ve had much longer wait times for furniture so far from the Natural Bed Company and Tikamoon. It’s just the way the world is post-COVID. Also, the sofa was MUCH cheaper through Satonia. It cost me £1399 and I’ve seen the exact same sofa on Etsy for £1850.

In the end it took more like 2-3 months wait to get my sofa and once again the communication on delivery wasn’t the best - they contacted me and told me it would arrive within the next week but a few days later rang me as I was returning home from work and said they would be there in 30 minutes.

The van turned up with the sofa but there was only one delivery man so I had to help him carry it up three flights of stairs, and he left the wooden crate behind outside my flat so I had to disassemble that and dispose of it as well. Yes, a lot of hassle - but I’ve saved £450! If you are willing to deal with the eccentricity of Satonia’s customer communications and delivery methods, then you can get very nice furniture for a very good price.

I made an order for an Eames style chair. I was then a bit worried when I read the reviews, especially as there were so many with quite dodgy English grammar which was a real red flag. I actually found the customer service quite efficient and helpful. They got in touch with me almost immediately to let me know that the item was not in stock. I was given the option of waiting or cancelling. I cancelled and was refunded within two or three days. I was a bit worried that I was going to be scammed so I was pleasantly surprised.

I ordered a chair over a month ago, and their website showed as 3-5 days delivery, I then get emailed to say it would be 4-6 weeks delivery. I've emailed for an update and had no response. Funny as their website still shows the same product as in stock ready to be delivered in 3-5 days. FALSE ADVERTISING.

Satonia – reply to your customers, improve your contact options, stop being misleading.

Update: added a couple stars as I got the chair, slightly scuffed but otherwise as shown in the images. Shame the delivery times weren't anywhere near accurate.

Avoid at all cost

Impossible to contact them. Delivery times are totally fake so do not trust them.

Impossible to get money back after you return an item.

Not a website you can trust

I've wanted to buy a replica Eames armchair for years, but always been sceptical.

I noticed a colleague's on a work zoom and he recommended Satonia. The price was great and you can't beat a personal recommendation, so I ordered without hesitation.

Paid for express delivery and got order confirmation, but on hearing nothing else for 48 hours I started to worry. The poor reviews here played on my mind and I couldn't get through on phone, but I emailed and received my tracking details back within minutes.

Chair arrived next day (three days in total as advertised for in stock express items) and was very easy to put together. All tools required were provided.

One of the holes on the stool base hadn't been drilled out properly, but I was able to fix that very easily with my own drill.

I think this chair is great value and order to delivery was very efficient.

I would recommend.

I was a bit sceptical at first after reading the "bad" reviews! but my experience was great! The sofa we ordered was out of stock at the time but they told us they can order it in and the lead time was 6-8 weeks. We have waited a little longer then that due to shipping issue we are all aware of, but communication was on point and they kept us updated all the time. We love our sofa and its beautiful just as described on their website! Thanks to Emma who was helping us. Delivery was prompt and the guys were very helpful. I would order again for sure!

An eames lounge chair was bought as a gift our son who ordered two days before and that arrived within 48 hours.

Just received my delivery. As ordered. Good quality replica Kennedy design chairs. There was a significant delay in delivery, but I was advised of same almost immediately after ordering, and offered a refund if the anticipated wait did not suit. It did suit, as we arlready had furniture and this was an upgrade and we were in no hurry. Yes it took from October to February, but that did not bother us. I got a bit worried when I saw some negative reviews on other sites, and I began to doubt the veracity of this store. I shouldn't have worried. All good. I will happily use again. Only caveat is, if rapid delivery is top of your criteria then discuss when placing your order. It was probably supply chain / container issues and international deliveries. I'm very happy, and delighted to leave my review.

I ordered an office chair online, but after several days or a week, received an email to say that the item was not in stock, despite not being advised of this at the time of placing the order. I was offered an 8 Week wait or a refund. Communication came at a strange time of day by email and also by an overseas text message. I agree with other reviewers that this company is probably not in the UK - dialling code suggests USA. Could be a coincidence but I have since had suspicious emails from US saying my device have been hacked and demanding a ransom! Buyers beware.

Really pleased with our purchase from satonia.com, which is an Eames lounge chair. It took only 2 days to deliver. The piece arrived very well packed and the couple of small bits we had to attach (armrest and fixings) were easy to attach and had good instructions supplied. This was our first purchase from satonia.com and we will buy from them again.

The chair arrived within two working days, really well packed. Easy to put together and an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture.

Communication was great - however sadly the chair didn't assemble properly, the screws didn't match up with where the holes were manufactured into the arm rests so I have had to assemble it with only 1 screw which leaves it wobbly, and unstable - I would have expected more considering the cost was £400

I wasn’t sure about this company because of the number of very obvious fake reviews posted in their name. There was no need for them to have done this: I ordered the leather Eames reproduction. It arrived in less than a week, spectacularly well packaged. The parts kit was excellent - all the assembly parts in a blister pack with codes that matched the simple instruction manual. The final attachment of the chair to the foot needs a pair of circlip pliers…which they provided in the box!!. The chair is strong and well made, it should last well. Very happy.
