Scannero.io scam

Scannero.io have taken £39.50 out of my account since October 2025 per month, without my permission totalling £118.50.

Please refund this per my email request as a matter of urgency.

This was supposed to be a 71 p, invoice.

Please be warned that money will be taken from your account even if you don't sign up to it. This is a scam and it's impossible to find my email account with them.

I just generate a tracking link and…

I just generate a tracking link and send it via whatsapp . Whent they click it I get their location. It’s an easy way to verify theirlocation without installing any software. The only thing is it depends on them clicking the link from the message

Misleading trial and unauthorized…

Misleading trial and unauthorized charges
I signed up only for the one-day trial, clearly expecting it to end after that. Instead, I was charged multiple times for a subscription I never knowingly agreed to.
There was no clear warning or confirmation that I was being enrolled into an ongoing subscription, and the charges appeared without proper consent. This feels extremely misleading and unethical.
Trying to resolve the issue has been frustrating, and the whole experience has completely broken my trust. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Be very careful if you’re considering their “trial.”

If you trust you lost

If you trust you lost , I have paid a trial for 24hours with 1,5-2€ after that you have to continue payment with another 40€ or more that asking everyday from my card without my permission. When I'm trying to cancel everything the app doesn't respond to unsubscribe.

We understand that you had difficulty unsubscribing through the app, and we apologize for that inconvenience.

They offer a trial membership and trace but add £28 of extra charges!

They offer a trial membership and trace for 71p.

But when you try to sign up they add a compulsory $20.34 for "scan assist" and £8.12 for support priority.

They do not quote the location of the number you want to search.

It seems that all they do is to send a message to the phone and expect that someone is with the phone and will reply.

If the phone is stolen, lost in the woods, in the back of your car or in your spare room then there is no one who is going to answer. And you could send a message yourself anyway.

You then have to waste time trying to get them to cancel all their unauthorised charges to your card.

They refund me back full amount that was took from my bank account.

Some users say cancellation is hard, but it wasn’t for me. I logged into my account, clicked cancel, and that was it. Done in a minute.

Scannero scam and secret subscription - beware

Scannero scam - promised to charge a one off fee of a few $AUD and instead secretly signed up to ongoing subscription renewable monthly at $70 per month. They also use some third party credit card payment provider so you cannot tell from the credit card payment who has been charging the card. Needless to say, the actual service itself was useless and did not assist in locating the missing phone. Luckily my bank picked it up and arranged a refund. Worst experience I have had in many years.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT sign up for a free trial subscription. I signed up and cancelled within 1 hour, saw on my bank account that they were charging me almost £30. I got in touch with their customer services, who informed me that I had signed up for additional services, when I had not done so. It looks I will have to fight to get my money back.

A friend told me about scannero so I…

A friend told me about scannero so I gave it a shot. I used the reverse phone lookup. It showed me who the caller was and even where the number was registered. Turned out it was a marketing company calling at random hours. I finally blocked them and could sleep again. Dont forget to cancell when the work is done

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM. They are predators. You may have lost your phone. They claim to know where it is. Some fancy tricks and hey presto! They found it. No they didn't. They LIE. They will take your money, lots of it, when you are most vulnerable. They did it to me. Then some smarmy Customer Service guy says "Oh, you should have done this, or that... so sorry!" Liars. Predators. Scum.
