I ordered one of their mouse lamps as a Christmas present. When my other half plugger the lamp in, it was not working. We found out that the issue appears to be a broken cable near the switch. I emailed Seletti who asked for video evidence which I sent, and they said they are sending me a new transformer. Unsurprisingly, this did not resolve the issue as it is a broken cable not a faulty transformer. I emailed them again with supporting video evidence. They once again told me they will send me a transformer and if that doesn’t fix the problem, will send me a new product. This was about 2 weeks ago now, I have received nothing from them, no other transformer, no new lamp and no refund. I strongly recommend saving yourself a headache and not purchasing from Seletti.

Bought an original Seletti bird lamp after already owning a cheap knock off (that has a standard EU power plug). The lamp looks great but I soon realized the massive fault in it's design; the lamp is supplied with a 5 volt USB adapter. Now why would they do that? I soon understood why, since you can't buy 5 volt (e14 fitting) light bulbs anywhere accept from their store!

Now I could accept this malicious practice if they offered many options for their light bulbs, but they don't. The standard led bulb supplied with the lamp is insanely bright. I contacted their support about this asking if the bulb from their mouse lamp would work, and after a long time I received a reply in Itanglish stating that there is no other option. I ignored their reply and bought one anyway, and to no surprise it works just fine, but still it's a little too much on the bright side.

So yeah, my experience with the knock off is 10x better.

I received damaged plates and contacted a customer service. They told me that the plates are not damaged but with imperfections die to "manual procedure".

In order to return plates, you must contact the customer service, which should provide a return label with tracking.
My emails are being ignored. The return label has not been provided. I don't know where to return the plates to.
It's a scam

My experience is that you can trust this company. Quick delivery and good customer service. My small problem was resolved very quickly.

Has anyone noticed that they only sell bulbs with one type of lume. That means that the lap I have is to bright, and they are the only company that makes lamps with so low voltage that I can't use any other brand bulbs. Customers service is non existing.

So sad.

Cool looking product like the Jurassic lamp series. But be aware, there are no extra lamps available in most shops. If you have a lamp 1-2 years old they will suddenly change the size of the bulp and you cannot replace anymore. Nice looking but useless from a sustainability point of view.

As a lighting consultant for 8+ years, I think their look is great but their technical qualities are sub-intern level. They have non-dimmable filament lamps, and 36 volt lamps which is a non-standard voltage- this is just not acceptable and not in line with their high quality visual design.
But the reason why I really dislike them is because I paid by credit card and they didn't action it until three months later, leaving me overdrawn and having to find a magic £600 now. If you're going to do that, at least warn the client first!

it's a pain finding replacement bulb for Seletti mouse lamp. Regardless of the E14 fitting you cannot use just any bulb because the lamp uses 5V DC voltage and not 220 AC one. So you have to seek for a 5V LED lamp with E14 fitting if the one you have with lamp breaks. And it's a real pain to find.
