Appalling customer service and

Appalling customer service and incorrect pricing. When I tried on 2 occasions to cancel my order I was told it had been cancelled, yet the courier still arrived to collect the parcel! 2 days running! Absolute joke.
No reply to my emails & I'm yet to see if they are going to charge me.
Why does a company like this not have a phone number?!

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. I can confirm that I have further looked into this for you, and a request was made on Monday morning to cancel your collection with the couriers. I can see that they have now confirmed that this has been cancelled within the UK Mail network.

You are not charged instantly for our labels, only when they are scanned and used by the couriers are they added onto you next months invoice. Therefore, as this label will not be used you will not be charged.

We do not currently have a phoneline, as we are focusing our efforts on Live Chat and email.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service
Bad customer service, bad experience. I was a customer of Hermes many years through Shutl Ebay. But few items were damaged and Hermes refused to pay money back as it was some cosmetics items, so they said it was liquid, and prohibited for posting. If you can see there list, probably 90% of possible items are prohibited, except cholthes. Lol. They even refused to give money back for postage. Gave up to have business with them. As never thought if you pay over 150 pounds per month, they even cant give you back 10 for lost or damaged items. Was waiting there answer for 2 weeks according my claim. Dont recommend. Horrible customer service who doesn't care about customers at all

Our no compensation list is a compilation of items based on what the couriers via our platform also deem as no compensation.

When generating a postage label on eBay it shows a link to view the latest restrictions. The link directs you to our website where you will find the list of prohibited and no-compensation items. Any item which is listed on the no compensation list can be sent via our service however will not be covered in the event of damaged. Prohibited items are forbidden from being sent via the service and will not be covered in the event of loss or damage.

Apologies for any delay, however I can confirm that our full claims process can take up to 14 working days to be resolved in full.

AWFUL - do not use

Wish i asked my brother to read all these before going ahead with them as he booked them but asked me to help with the collection of parcels - awful does not even begin to describe them.
1) One packaged requested for Wed pick up by Hermes - courier turned up Tuesday ready to grab anything i had in my doorway until i stopped him and said that is not for you to pick up. He is suppose to come Wed as arranged but he apparently came Monday and Tuesday but not Wednesday???
2) Second package with DHL - suppose to come Tuesday. Got text message to say coming between 4.51pm-5.51pm but no one came? They said he turned up Tuesday at 3.09pm which is total LIE - i work from home and no one called at that time.
You may say you are a label printing platform only but you are not - you are my point person for the service bought for delivery so you are liable - 100%. And you do not respond to emails so emailing you is a waste of time as well plus there is no phone number?? That should have been a warning sign. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY - please do NOT use them so they can go out of business for scamming customers. No customer service or integrity - i am sorry if you work there but the quicker this is out of service the better it will be for customers not relying on you to deliver a non-existent service.

In relations to the DHL collection time frame, these are provided directly from the courier. As Shutl is simply only the label printing platform, we do not have access to the couriers collection times or schedules, and therefore can only advise of the window of time they would come in across in a business day. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and would be happy to raise this matter for you also.

Our reply time is 24-48 hours, apologies if there has been any delay in getting back to you on these matters. I can confirm we are working our hardest to respond to all our customers as soon as possible. Currently we do not have a telephone service available as Shutl is focusing its customer services via email and live chat.

poor service lack of compensation

if you want your items delivered damaged and thins missing then this is the company for you the most awkward people to deal with trying to get compensation it is easier to get blood out of a stone
they are asking me to compensate customer the courier that they put me on to damaged the item not me so they should pay am sick of e mailing them to sort this i will be using royal mail in the future
LIV I HAVE EMAILED YOU ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS TO NO AVAIL I SENT PICTURES AND TRACKING NUMBER AND AS REQUESTED GAVE YOU A LIST OF THE MISSING ITEMS I DID CONTACT HERMES WHO SAID THAT I HAD PAID YOU SO YOU SHOULD DEAL WITH IT I AM LOOKING TO EBAY TO REFUND ME I ALSO EMAILED THIS REVIEW TO YOU AS WELL

Any excuse not to pay compensation.

Very poor communication from this company. Find any way that they can not to pay compensation for lost or damaged goods. Will avoid in the future.

Delivery with MyHermes was thrown in a…

Delivery with MyHermes was thrown in a bin, there's no phone number, no email confirming receipt of my online claim, which is a Google Form. They just give you an email address and it takes days for a reply. This company is clearly a scam.

i chose Hermes and Hermes has confirmed that this means glass or ceramics like bulbs and bases etc but that lampshades are fine. Shutl say no compensation for badly damaged squashed in box sent thru Hermes .. WARNING - SHUTL DO NOT COVER THINGS SENT THROUGH HERMES OR OTHER COURIERS THAT GOING DIRECT THROUGH HERMES OR OTHER COURIERS WOULD COVER. SAME PRICE OT GO DIRECT.

On Monday

On Monday, I booked via eBay for a collection of an item I sold - to collect Friday. All nice, smooth, well in advance and confirmed with a tidy email. I planned to work from home on Friday to be here for this collection. However on Tue, Wed and Thu, I came home to My Hermes "we missed you" tickets citing first, second and last attempts at collection. Well that's weird - I booked Shutl, not My Hermes and I booked it for Friday. Oh no. I email them Thursday and got a response Friday - the collection has been cancelled! BEFORE the confirmed collection date! The buyer cannot wait another week or three until when I can plan to work from home again so I'm going to suffer a loss. My Hermes won't respond - their phone number doesn't work and their contact form requires you to supply a tracking number and it won't accept the Shutl tracking number. Shutl's response: cannot help you. Either you need to rebook or bring it to a shop. All this hassle through ZERO fault of my own. Their mistake and they cannot or will not fix it. AVOID if you can!

Worthless insurance cover! Do not use this service

I have used the Shutl service many times with no problems. Last week I used them to ship a golfing statue sold on eBay. The statue was delivered broken. I assumed this would be covered by the compensation stated on the postage label, however when I contacted shutl they refused to accept liability, referring me instead to their list of exclusions. I was amazed to see that 99% of all items that you might want to post are excluded from their cover.
When I reported this to eBay I was told that eBay have had thousands of complaints from sellers regarding shutl. Do not use this service, their compensation cover I’d worthless!11

Slow for refunds

Used this service through ebay, when got to the postoffice they refused the parcel to be sent with the label, paid the postoffice, got home on the 27th and cancelled the label, well 1 week later and still no refund.

When you say it will be round the side of the house by the garage door... on the collection instructions...

The driver decides to mark the delivery as "not required anymore" and doesn't collect it ....

Next day i was assured it would be collected as per the instructions....

Nobody turned up.....

Then told to print label again and re request collection...

No thanks !!!!!

Avoid at all cost shouldn’t be trading con artists of the highest calibre

Stay well clear of this shambles of a company without looking at the google reviews I used them having sent 2 parcels through eBay I used shutl as there part of eBay so having sent 2 parcels on 21st of June 2019 and the other on the 22nd of June 2019 both haven’t updated through the tracking number then on the 27th of June I attempted to track 1 of the parcels and was updated with parcel lost in transit the other parcel they know nothing about total disgrace sent over 10 emails to customer service and still no further forward today the 1of July 2019 I called customer service which took me over a hour for the call to be answered and got no further forward to where my parcels are being held please do no use this service as I for one will never use this service again total shamble

Still haven’t received any correspondence regarding the matter then I get a txt from my phone company regarding a telephone call to shutl customer service £14 for not even speaking to a advisor as the call went straight to hold I would love this company be stripped of all its assets and closed down absolutely disgusted with this company

-50 stars review for thieves

If I could give this cowboy operation -50 stars I would. Hermes have lost my parcel (again) and advised to contact Shutl for compensation. Shutl now say that it takes 2weeks to investigate!!?
Why 2weeks when Hermes have said it is lost? Just pay up you bunch of thieves!! I paid the enhanced compensation now pay my bloody money!
The reviews on TrustPilot just say it all, not even 2stars... I will never use this sh!t organisation again!!

Why can't I leave Zero stars? Or even minus

Waiting to receive parcel from Shutl via Collect plus (who I would never use myself).
No tracking updates, missed delivery day and had to wait for nearly an hour to use 'live' chat. 'Customer Service' agent was totally useless, Collect plus say contact Shutl - Shutl say contact Collect plus - who's kidding who?
What a joke - never use Shutl myself when selling anyway - would rather pay a little extra to use a reliable, reputable courier - and will not buy from anyone who is unwilling to post correctly.
Next time I am in London I will be visiting their office to waste over an hour of THEIR time.

Update - reply from Shutl below, as cannot reply (what is the point of posting a reply from them?) will add here - totally unacceptable, I have contacted seller, but want my item when I expected it. Seller has no updated info either, so usual lies and run around from Shutl. Really unhappy (to say the least) - am still going to visit them next time in London - I have 3 addresses for them, 1 must be correct one.

If I could give them zero stars I would

This company are a complete joke as despite knowing exactly what you are sending when they sell you the label (it is a direct link from eBay) they will find any way to avoid paying compensation when a parcel is damaged lost. In my case it appears the courier removed the item and delivered an empty box if the buyer is to be believed. I contact Shutl and do they care about the risk of theft on their network, NO they just tell me it’s not covered for compensation as it’s measured in ML. Apparently this is deemed a liquid despite it be being described as a cream on the manufacturers website. They are also refusing to compensate the other items in the parcel that they accept are not liquids. I’m glad that the eBay contract has been moved to packlink and hope that the service improves. Customer service is so important and this company just don’t care. They are slow to respond and when they do they are rude and unhelpful.

It is only when a claim is made that a member of staff accesses the tracking information can view and provide advice on how to continue with the claim depending on what the item is.
