RBI Guidelines Are Clear: Funds Must Be Settled Within 24 Hours

worst customer service its a scam after payment is processed my account got closed they told me that you will get the refund in 5 business days and now when i called there customer care number they told me that the money is in the virtual bank account and sender need to call the bank and initiate the charge back then only the sender can get the refund of the money .
i dont even have access of my account even i cannot track my payment .
please do not share your information with this company because they can make mis use of your personal information and documents .

Skydo is not for international payments
The onboarding on skydo is good, but here comes the drawbacks.
1. No mfa for account security.
2. their virtual account does not work for clients as it's says invalid accounts while adding as payes.
3. I almost lost a client by recommending skydo, I am still on upwork. Better to use paypal.

SKYDO Payment system is fake
Before getting registered, skydo executive was talking with sugar coated words with big committments, like easy and smooth transactions, best rates, etc etc. Once they receive any payment, they close the account for no reason or some lame excuses, that business model doesnt suit their standard. then why the hell they are running the international payment gateway, when they can't match the international business model

The working hours are only between 10…
The working hours are only between 10 to 7pm which makes it a big handicap fro anyone who wants to register before or after the office hours. Once all the documents are submitted, the page keeps rotating saying the documents are being verified. After customer support was called next day (they also work only between 10-7pm IST) it was told that since documents were uploaded after 7pm, they will process it only next day that too in second half. The potential customer is not given any notification in the page that keeps rotating that it would be processed next day. Without no one to reach out to after 7pm after submitting all your documents and before getting onboarded it is very uncomfortable and makes us question the safety. Other similar platforms have continuous support and notifications. I am not sure to save few bucks if this is the safe platform.

On top of that, they charge excessive fees and, in some cases, even refund the payment back to the sender without proper explanation. It’s unreliable and unprofessional. I'm sharing my horrific experience with Skydo, a payment processing company that has held my client's payment for almost 2 months.(29th Jan 2025)
The Issue
Skydo initially verified my account details and provided me with an account to receive payments from clients. After receiving payment from my client, Skydo suddenly closed my account without explanation.
The Runaround
Despite confirming receipt of the payment on their dashboard, Skydo claims they cannot refund the money to my client. They asked for my client's account details, which were provided, but then claimed they couldn't refund the money to that account either.
Unreasonable Demands
Now, Skydo is demanding an indemnity letter from my client, which is an unreasonable request. I've already delivered services to my client and informed them that I received the payment, as confirmed by Skydo's dashboard.
The Real Victim
But here's the thing: my client has already received the services they paid for. They're not bothered about the payment anymore. It's me, the service provider, who's suffering because I trusted Skydo.
Why Should My Client Bother?
Why should my client go through the hassle of providing indemnity letters or chasing Skydo for a refund? They've got what they paid for, and it's not their problem that Skydo is holding onto the payment.
A Warning to Others
As a 10-year-old Pvt Ltd company, I'm appalled by Skydo's unprofessional and scam-like behavior. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company and find more reliable payment processing solutions.
