We've always outsourced our design work in the past, so taking on Solidworks ourselves was quite a big step, particularly as we had very little experience with the software.

Guy and Theo have both been brilliant throughout. We've asked plenty of questions, both technical and around the various licensing arrangements, and nothing has ever been too much trouble. They're always happy to take the time to explain things properly rather than just give you a quick answer.

What could have been quite a difficult transition has actually been very straightforward thanks to the excellent service offered by Solidx.

It's refreshing to deal with a company that's genuinely interested in helping you get the most out of the software rather than simply selling you a licence.

Really pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

As an experienced user of SOLIDWORKS, I was on the 2 day flow simulation course and I found it extremely useful.

Theo worked through the examples with me to begin with on the first day, and then once we had completed all of the relevant lessons we moved to the specific problem I was on the course to solve. He showed me the process I need to run through to get my simulation working, and helped me get a simplified version ready.

I now have complete confidence in the next steps on my simulation problem with the knowledge I have fast and relevant support if I encounter any setup issues.

I highly recommend this service.

As a new user to Solidworks I purchased an Essentials course and found it to be an excellent experience. The teaching method of doing exercises alongside one another is very good for picking up the software.

The instructor Theo was friendly, informative and very patient - always willing to go back a bit to make sure everyone was up to speed. I would highly recommend to any new user.

I've been a SOLIDWORKS user for about 20yrs. I used to have support with another (big) distributor, but moved to Solidx about 3yrs ago. So glad I did. I'm no longer just a number, I'm a valued customer. Ed and Matt have simply been remarkable. Friendly, technically incredibly knowledgeable, and happy to jump on a call to solve any issues I've had. Without a doubt, Theo made this training super easy to follow. Not once was he unable to answer any question any of us asked, proof that he is the right person for this job, and I found him super easy to work with. When I first opened SolidWorks, I was lost and had no idea what I was doing. After training with Theo, I now have all the skills I need to design and create drawings, and I picked up things I will likely never use, but it's still good to know how to use the functions. If you use SolidWorks and are thinking of doing this course... Stop thinking about it and book it!

The Solidworks training with Theo was quite interesting, and certainly not as painful as i anticipated. He was very patient to answer my endless questions and didn't make me feel daft for asking them.
