service@servicestack commerce is not receiving emails.

I received an email from NewAtlas stating that I had purchased Windows 11 Pro. I only own a MacBook Air and an iMac, so there is no reason for me to have purchased this. I contacted customer service and then received an email from Penelope asking if I recognized an attached receipt of my purchase. I have responded numerous times stating by simply hitting "Reply" that I did not recognize that receipt and Gmail responds with "Delivery Status Notification (Failure) - Your message wasn't delivered to because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail." I'm hoping by posting this here, it will make it to Stack Service. (Penelope)>

I wish I would’ve known it was a scam

**Update!!!
I received a refund from the company after sending an email expressing that I felt they were scamming me. More importantly, I bought the same deal from another site and had the SAME ISSUE!! The problem definitely seems to be with Sam’s Club’s site!!

Previous review:

I wish I would have searched their legitimacy before making a purchase. I bought a 1 year membership for Sam’s club from them, but was never able to sign up for the membership using the link they provided to Samsclub.com. It always said that my card payment could not be authorized no matter what card I used. I called Sam’s Club and they said they only have a partnership with Groupon. Therefore, I’ve been scammed. It’s a bit frustrating because I have actually received responses from stack after emailing their customer service, but none of them helpful. It was their suggestion that I contact Sam’s Club, but even the phone number listed on the signup link page supposedly for Sam’s Club is for a travel agency. It’s only $25, but I can really use that money for groceries. It’s sad that these sites are still allowed to operate.

Incorrect sales tax

Incorrect sales tax

Charged sales tax based on zip code. This is at best wrong and at worst fraudulent. Sales tax rate boundaries DO NOT follow zip code boundaries. The entire address has to be used.

I have emailed support twice and received no response.

EDIT: StackCommerce have refunded the incorrect tax. Raising the rating.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ANY ITEMS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! They have AWFUL Customer service. Purchase 3 Nix Paint Sensors, never opened them and returned them. First they said they never received them. Then, when I showed them the USPS delivery confirmation, they made up some unlawful reason for a partial refund. STAY AWAY!

A company of character

I was contacted by the company about the problem I was having with a macbook purchased through them. I was past the warranty to return the product, but after explaining that it had not been used for over three weeks due to illness in the family, StackCommerce had me send the product back for a full refund. I will use them again and would recommend their character.

Top Handling of Refund Request

In a money back case their customer support was nice and responded speedily. They updated me frequently on their investigation and their findings and finally notified me of the decision to refund me. They also let me know in advance the time frame to expect the refund. The handling of my case built trust.

Great company and customer service

Recieved offer of Powershell Ceterfication Bundle for $22. Paid the fee. Credit Card was charged. Never received receipt or acknowledgement of order. Never received notice of how to retrieve my product. Contacted Support and they told me they could not find any order for me. Stack got my money and I got nothing.

Update: Immediately after my review StackCommerce contacted me and identified the problem. It was a typo on my end and a different account. Alll was taken care of. I revise my review to 5 stars.

Avoid Stack Commerce at All Costs: Blatant Fraud and Deception"

Stack Commerce is an online platform that promises opportunities to make easy money, but in reality, it's a fraudulent scheme. Engaging with them puts you at risk of losing both money and time.

Firstly, the promise of commissions for boosting online items is a sham. They lure you in with the allure of easy earnings, but in truth, you never see a penny of the money supposedly earned.

Furthermore, the requirement to send cryptocurrencies to participate in daily mission packages is a glaring red flag. Not only is this financially risky, but it's also highly suspicious, with no guarantee of receiving anything in return.

In summary, Stack Commerce is a dishonest platform that should be avoided at all costs. Don't fall for their empty promises, and steer clear of any interaction with them. Your financial integrity and safety are at stake.

Getting Beartter....

The process has gotten even smoother. This was from a "special sales announcement" that I expected to be crowded (MS Office Pro Lifetime for $36), but it was the fastest checkout so far.

Yes, I'm a returning customer, but I don't keep my info stored on their servers, so its like I'm new... So, fastest purchase so far. I appreciate that (and the great deal!).

Paypal checkout woes, e-mails lists

I tried to check out via Paypal. Paypal sent me a notice that the charge was successful. The Website then returned an error message saying the paypal transaction was unsuccessful. I feel like I might get double, or triple charged here. I've never had an issue with Paypal check out on a site before. I also got 2 e-mails from the company saying that I'm on 2 e-mail lists that I never signed up for.

Follow up:
GDGT reached out and it should be resolved now.

I ordered a key for AdGuard and had some questions about the use of the within my AdGuard account. Other companies might have send me to the AdGuard support but the stackcommerce support contacted them for me and I got a quick and super friendly reply on the weekend that really helped me.

StackCommerce offered a good deal on MS Office 2021

Stack Commerce recently utilised TechRepublic's Daily Tech Insider to offer a good deal on Microsoft Office 2021. It looked much like other Microsoft deals I've seen where companies act as bulk buyers and then on sell at better than average discounts.
I encouraged my wife to take up the deal, which she did. She paid the money via PayPal (money accepted) and tried to complete the sign up, which failed, quitting after going around in vain circles for a while.
I felt a trifle unhappy at this point. However, after contact with the Stack Commerce help desk, I realised that my wife's issues weren't with Stack Commerce but rather with the sign up to Microsoft. On her behalf, I completed the sign up to Microsoft, the download, and the install. All of this went smoothly (except for the painfully slow process of getting Microsoft to accept a new ID and passport, especially in terms of accepting one as human).
At the end of all this, I'm happy to say that all is well and that my faith in Tech Republic and Stack Commerce is well and truly restored.

I wish they had...

I wish they had more reviews of products from verified buyers. it's easy to browse, buy and checkout. A lot of great stuff at affordable prices. I just wish here was at least ONE number to call to speak with a human being in case. Wish they had loyalty rewards for returning customers.

Scam

I agree with the other negative comments. TMZ gave me an invalid software license code, and I have not been able to get them to give me one that works. StackCommerce keeps giving me the runaround, and there is no phone number for customer support. The emails from StackCommerce support appear to be mostly canned replies asking for the same information over and over, and don't address the issue. I provided my phone number in case they needed clarification, but no response.

Update: After posting this initial review, received another license key, which appears to work. However, the account information in the apps shows both my old version and this new version, without indicating which one is actually running. Typical Microsoft obfuscation. The installed apps section in Windows Settings does show the new one as being the one actually installed.

Good description of products
