I mistakenly bought 21 hours of tuition credits to support my daughter's UCAT test preparation. However, her circumstances changed and she no longer needed any tuition. I was refused a refund by the company initially, but eventually got a settlement of only 25%. Absolutely outrageous IMO and this is not how other tution companies operate in my experience where unused sessions are typically refunded in full.

I would really recommend study mind and my maths tutor Clara. I achieved an A* in Maths alevel so I am very pleased. Really good communication and well run.

Very good communication, good value for money. My daughter had lessons with Klara H. She explained very well and my daughter passed her maths exam a lot better than expected

I think it was really effective in the sense that there were a lot of useful techniques to improve for the different sections in the UCAT. Tutors also make sure to answer all questions so that was really great as well. I really appreciate the exposure to different question types as it helped me to understand the UCAT better and work towards improving my technique.

Very helpful tips for the VR section of the UCAT, and Kunal answered the questions from the group very well.

The experience was great. It was very knowledgeable and useful. The tips given really helped to improve my understanding and my performance during VR. The tutor answered all the questions and replied to them in depth. So, all the questions got answered fully and clarified any misunderstandings.

Great explanations of how to approach each question, good at explaining why the answer was the answer.
Good advise and walking through each question type, and what to do in situations.

The tips were very usual for reducing the time spent on each question. A small critique would be to add more diverse questions.

Really good explanations(tutor- John)! I just wish we went through the questions a little bit faster, so it's more similar to the actual time we should be completing them in the exam. But over all they were very clear and had good notes on the UCAT process, as well as how to complete the qs :)

I attended the 5 day Banking and Finance Work Experience event with StudyMind, and it was reasonable.
The first day was slightly boring since some tedious information was revealed about financial markets, which can easily be found online.
On the second day, we were not adequately informed since we were told we were to receive a private tour of the Bank of England, which did not happen. Instead, we were told to go to a free museum which we could have done on our own and was not exclusive “work experience”. However, this improved in the afternoon with an interesting tour of the financial district, with important events and scandals by banks and financial institutions also covered!
The third and fourth days were much better since we were able to do some virtual trading on an account using some “technical analysis” and bogus “candlestick patterns”, and we took part in a trading competition.
The final day was the best since we were able to do a workshop where we created our own bubble tea company and learned about M&As and IPOs from an actual trader who heads a trading floor at a hedge fund, which was very insightful and interesting.
Overall, attend this course at your own risk, and try to rely on your own connections for work experience if available. The owners were deflecting our questions sometimes and encouraging us to attend further events, which I believe others may not, but I thoroughly enjoyed some aspects of this course and some were not so good, which I believe the owners are working to improve.

This was a really helpful conference. Bobby was amazing at explaining the AR techniques.
