A shame that minus scores aren't available. Worse than useless would be an understatement!
The "support" desk is about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike!

Excellent product and service

Excellent product and service. 1) Affordable card reader and service for small businesses. 2) Only service I've found available for Puerto Rico that does not have a montly fee. 3) Easy set up, though when I've had questions...see >>>4) Efficient and thorough and patient customer service via email. (I haven't tried any other methods.)

I bought a second card reader and recently had the chance to use both at the same time; it was excellent to have one with me in our booth at an antiques fair and to have the other in my shop with my employee.

Highly recommend!

waste of Time

We were very happy with the ease of set up, we used the terminal and today I received an email informing us that our account has been terminated. No reasons were given at all. After I rang the support, I was told our model is not supported! Why was the application approved in the first place? We did NOT lie about what we do.

Great product

Great product. Very easy to use, quick to instal and no monthly costs. Was the best decision for my start-up! Also looks good, while the competition has a regular terminal so it looks "unique", modern.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. They signed up my business with full knowledge of our operations and now have said they cannot serve us anymore. This is after hours of set up and expense. Avoid at all costs.

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH....after you…

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH....after you join.after providing all the docs the ask for..after some time they ll keep asking you more docs one after the other and will block your account...i provided them my documents twice....spoken to them over the phone twice...they promise to ring you back before the end of the day...NEVER HAPPENS...

Also delay your payments for some reason..(probably use your money) and somdtimes it tzkes them more than five days to deposite money in your account..happened to md twice..

Just got fedup with their service...and ended up cancelling the services from them...
VERY POOR...and Un reliable

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the decision to close your account. Sadly we do have certain requirements for the documents we receive and will request further documentation if those that we receive do not match these requirements.

We take these decisions very seriously and we never close our Merchants' accounts without reason. However, for compliance reasons we are sadly limited with the information we can communicate to our Merchants. In regards to the delays in payments, we will always try to process our payments within 2-3 days but the processing speed of your bank can cause further delays. International payments can also take longer to payout due to international bank transfers.

Sumup seem to work very well and I like…

Sumup seem to work very well and I like how receipt can be sent after transaction.
Weekly basis is when a report is made I think (only used app once) and a total of transactions made is logged deducting a cut for each transactions then monies are sent to bank after 1-2 bussiness days.
Works flawlessly for me had no issues, needed to change bussiness name and that was handled promply via email.

the search is now over

I had spent a very long time looking at various card readers , talking to others and tied myself up in knots.
One day my friend came over and said that they had looked at others too and found SumUp the best.
He helped me set up the ap, buy the card reader and then set up on my phone.
I didn’t bother before in the past as the bank is directly across from craft market but I was stunned at how much I sold.
Now......I usually rate a company through their customer service. Well 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Fantastic, SumUp helped me and made the changes I required.

inaccessible to blind users

I recently used SumUp to pay for a cab. As I am a visually impaired person I found the keypad complitelly unaccesible. to the point where I had to tell the driver my PIN so that we could complete the transaction. Please focus on your R&D. Should you take this to hart I’ll gladly implement your solution in my company.

Fast easy assistance from Sumup

As new customer moving my account transactions deposit to was much easier with Sumup than CardConnect by First Data. Problems overcome easily with Sumup. They ROCK!!!!!
