Ajla was helpful and sorted out our billing problem most expeditiously. She even explained that my previous request to remove voice services from the count had not been implemented.

Excellent customer service
We received great customer service from Adis H when we had a connection problem. He was very helpful on the phone, kept me informed about when we could expect the tech support and followed up afterwards. Excellent, friendly service

Great customer service
I've had Swish Fibre for the last 18 months. The broadband service has been exactly as described with no issues and the customer service when I have had contact has been excellent. Today, one of the support team, Adis.H, was really polite, efficient and communicated really clearly around my inquiry. Thank you.

The best provider we have ever had
I have been with Swish Fibre for 2.5 years, I have had to have 2 call outs in that time, and both were within the same da,y and the router was replaced
I am happy with the speed, but could do with a wireless extension upstairs as the plume device isn't strong enough for our large home
At any given time, we have up to 30 devices connected by wireless and get no scrolling or drop out
my contract ended over 18 months ago but I am very happy to stay with Swish, and the price is excellent as is the service

Fibre To The Property (FTTP) issues
Fibre To The Property (FTTP) is the way to go. However there do seem to be some problems. The Plume(s) ‘distributor/extender’ ( what is the right word?) were not able to provide service to all the main rooms of my house( not huge at 200 sq.m.) . I had to replace with a ‘ Mesh’ system. This has solved the distribution problem but reduced the Up/down load from 135 to 90 mbs. Ok but not as good as I am paying for! Reliability is not fantastic. Some moments of the day are almost reduced to zero. Lastly, resilience of the network is not what I would expect. The fibre ‘cable’ uses telephone poles to reach our houses. Trees are obviously a likely cause of damage/breakage. Why not under ground where damage is less likely? Lastly I am now able to access a BT FTTP service at lower cost. Will Swish compete ?

recommended service
Majority of time, the service is great. There have been a number of dropouts, particularly at evening time that have resulted in reloading the connection. Latency has also been fairly high, but not serious enough to complain about.

Reliable service with responsive customer support
Service is reliable, customer support is responsive and parental controls give peace of mind but there are a lack of features on their website to manage your account. WiFi is hub is very basic and additional extenders are over priced. Renewal options are limited and there are no incentives to retain customers

We went against our principals and…
We went against our principals and signed up to a doorstep salesman. 1st fix was done when we were out so we had no say in where it entered the home.
2nd fix I was told we needed a double socket, our available wall space by the door only had space for a single so I had to provide an extension cable meaning there was cable everywhere, not ideal with a puppy on the way.
Post installation we had buffering and were told to get our TV’s checked! Our internet signal is stronger from our neighbours than it is from our own modem even using our extender.
We also lost our landline number when we’d asked to keep it.
Counting the months down when we can shop around for better.

I get around 160 mbs upload and down load. There are no outages and I think for £32 a month it’s pretty good value

The broadband seems very weak
The broadband seems very weak through my home except where the modem is. Spent a couple of hours today trying to get in touch with cuckoo, failed to recognise my email, therefore was unable to link with my account. Considering leaving as I am out of contract

Generally reliable. Support was disappointing.
I use Zoom a lot and it's been pretty reliable most of the time. Occasionally video breaks up in a "rhythmic" manner which can be annoying. Complete outages have occurred (one on 29 Sep 2024) for several hours which was extremely inconvenient. Support finally contacted me THREE days later with "Your ONT issue has been resolved. Please can you reboot the ONT and router to resume service". No explanation, apology or any other useful information. Most subsequent outages have been for minutes rather than hours, but I don't trust the internet to be there when I need it.

A mixed experience
They over-deliver on speed; 150 mB is a our minimum.
The ping is 2-5mS which is important for my sons gaming.
But reliability is not 100%. Since I have had Swish, there have been regular outages of 20 seconds to 1 minute 30. Not a disaster for me, but it gets my sons kicked out of their games.
There is no support outside 9-5 which makes it hard to get help for a home system when you work. However, Swish have tried to fix the intermittent outage many times. It has improved and it's now only maybe a two or three a day.
