Booked through this company paying a deposit on flights in September 2019. Balance was due 10 weeks before the outward flight in April 20. They contacted me and said that I would lose the booking if I didn't pay the balance immediately (mid Jan 20). So I did. With hindsight I suspect that they knew Covid was going to hit and wanted to get as much money in as possible. Our flights were cancelled and they have refused all attempts to get our money back, well over £4000.
They quote their policy and that the tickets were non-refundable; yes if we cancelled not the airline cancelling.
They are total rogues and I would never ever book through them or anyone like them again. You learn the hard way and we have!
You have been warned; what appears to be a good deal soon turns to a very bad one when things aren't going well or there's a problem. They've even contacted me to sell my other flights. You just couldn't make it up
I've used this company for about 10 flights in the past and I've had NO PROBLEM. Soon as I tried to get in touch about a refund for flights I could not take they didn't want to know
Kept on stating policies etc. I lost the rag in the end and told them I will NEVER use them again.
DO NOT book through this company. Up front booking was fine. But, once the pandemic hit they held onto our money. They will not refund and only respond with "our policies state".
They did offer a credit. When I went to use my credit (my money) I was told you have to book to the same exact destination.
I cannot believe this company, after everything people have been through in 2020, are being so "policy" minded instead of people minded.

Because of the complicated circumstances with Covid we need professional help person to person to sort out our travels from the UK to Australia. I appreciate the effort made by Stanley/ GURU to chase up my refund on flight I booked with KLM. This was however not straight forward I followed this up with lots of phone calls before the refund was made. I guessed this was due to middle agent involved. With help from Stanley and Eric I managed to secure another flight with Qatar Airways which am pleased with. I have booked a flight with GURU in the past. My honest opinion is it helps if the agent could be more passionate and give update to customers about the progress on their querries. This will help ease their anxiety. All in all good outcome.
Avoid at all cost, I booked 11 flights to Florida for a big family holiday, Stanley was helpful and seem great, until..... a few months later called to advise our direct flight was cancelled and they could change to a indirect flight or pay £50pp to go direct, I said I wasn’t happy but would come back to him, I spoke to BA who the flight was with and would be cheaper to book direct with them so I advised I wasn’t happy and they got annoyed then didn’t charge me but book the direct flight anyway when I advised I wanted to cancel and by there t&c I would entitled time a full refund, they ignored me, after calling numerous time I spoke to Anthony, the team leader who shouted at me, ( I have this recorded) and advised if they had the money they would refund but they haven’t so sorry...., my second flight was again cancelled by BA and flight guru again refused a refund. I spoke directly with BA and no flight was ever booked on either flight with them, so flight guru robbed me of £4480, likely enough I have a great bank and had all the Evidence and got my money back that way, but I’m not the first person this has happened too
Don’t use these scammer they took a deposit off me so I was stuck with them they didn’t have a flight for me then when they found a flight they charged me £2600 then after I paid made loads of excuses To supply documents to give me the tickets I paid on Wednesday it’s now Sunday and I still haven’t received and I’m meant to fly 6am in the morning on Monday this is absolutely disgusting customer service they and they have my money I’m taking this to court don’t worry Nathaniel mcle

I rang TheFlightsGuru and spoke to Sarah. I wanted to fly from London to Denpasar, Bali, next August. She found me the flights that fitted my requirements. I just told her what day I wanted to be in Bali and about what time. She worked out the time difference and all of the flight details. I also told her when I wanted to leave Bali. The flight times were perfect. Done extremely quickly, efficiently all without any effort from myself. She explained all of the aspects of my flight to me including the stop over in Hong Kong airport which I requested to be as brief as possible. I paid for my flights. Sarah then told me about my baggage allowance which I also then paid for. All done for me speedily and professionally giving me complete piece of mind.

Absolutely DISGUSTING! Refused to give REFUND back . Refusing to answer calls regarding refund. Now being told they are third party company. Despite getting all the information from Virgin Atlantic ref no and date refund was purchase and amount to them. Now taking legal action as there is evidence that the refund was paid directly to them.

Due to covid hitting the airline companies hard, our flight was cancelled without warning leaving us in an emergency situation. I emotionally rang flight guru and a lovely agent named Eric was willing to move heathen and earth to help us get my husband back home to the UK from a 3 month stay in jamaica. Eric found us an alternative flight at a great price and is helping us request a refund from the cancelled flight. Amazing agents and we intend on using there compony for many more years to come
