Don’t order anything! Scammers!!!! You will wait forever and miss Diaz will keep sending you stufpid emails to be patient.

5-6 weeks for delivery? That was weeks ago. The tracking number doesn't even work.

Total scammers.

Bought 2 pairs of earphones, and after 4 weeks, no tracking numbers and no package.
Contacted them 3 times and they said I will receive the tracking number shortly.
6 weeks now and still nothing, so reported them on the FTC and got a refund via Paypal.

Ordered three weeks ago, just received them. They do not have much bass.

Surprisingly the order took about a month before i received it. I almost forgot i placed an order. When i got them delivered, they came in a small, flimsy bubble wrap package, which i didn't expect, but the quality of sound from the XD200's was very impressive. The clarity, and deep bass will surprise you, and can easily rival it's competitors. I ordered another pair, along with the XD's, but unfortunately,they were shipped defected in one ear. If you've received a defected or broken product, blame the company packaging method. Anything heavy falling on top of delicate earbuds is bound to cause destruction on route through the mail.

Ordered the foundation makeup brushes back in December 2018. Have not received the order up to now! Emailed them few time before but they somehow can’t find my order #. They said if the order is available they will mail it. Months and months (6mos) passed and have not heard from them. I emailed them again reg my order and still waiting for them to reply. Tried placing a complaint on BBB but they can’t find the “ modern almanac” on their system.

You won't receive whatever it is you paid for. You'll wait... complain that it's late... receive a generic response... then wait... complain that it's still late... receive a generic response... it's a scam.

Need Some Help

I now realised that it is a scam.
5 weeks after the payment, they tell me that the product was lost by the local merchant and they have shipped out the new one immediately.

Anyone know how i can get my money back?
I am living in the UAE and used my personal debit card for the payment. Any help would be highly appreciated.

This company scammed me out of my money. I ordered headphones from them and have not received them or a tracking number and that was 6 weeks ago. Their customer service keeps sending me automated replies. I asked for my money back and now they say they don't have any record of the sale. I filed a complaint with Paypal hopefully I will see my money back.
Stay Away from The Modern Almanac

I ordered two products from Modern Almanac, but they disappeared in transit and customer service keeps sending me generic responses 2 months later. I've also seen reports that the products you receive are NOT what is advertised, just cheap crap, so I'm not expecting anything at this point. Super disappointed that I fell for this scam.

it's a scummy site, be wary. look at all the other reviews and then decide if the 0.00$ headphones or various other items are worth it. not only that, even if you try to review their product, it doesn't post. so yeah, it's a scam.

Ordered a pair of headphone buds. Received damaged goods.

the items were free i just had to pay shipping! the items tok about 3 weeks but that is fine. customer service team helped

Ordered a phone case on the 2nd of Feb, still not here on 23rd of Apr.
Customer service just fobs you off with emails about contacting the merchant. Requested a refund and they resent the same email about them contacting the merchant. Will just get my credit card company to intervene. Don't bother with this site.

Absolut scam. Even the picture on the front page is stolen and photoshopped with their logo.

I should have known better. Aliexpress is really to blame.LOL. They make it easy for these little crap places to crop up and pedal garbage for 4 x's what it would cost direct from Ali Sellers. The Modern A looks all legit, but as others have said, they are a scam. Return policy they don't adhere to, play games with their customer service Zen mail etc. They told me no refund, but eventually said if your not satisfied (Like on the product page says) they would refund my money. Paypal wouldn't do anything-even though I told Paypal the seller said they would refund. I finally got my Credit card issuer to step in--THEY resolved it by crediting the purchase. Sad part is, this cheesy company will continue to scam folks. They won't even post an honest review of the product purchased so I would believe that their "REVIEWS" are faked, even the ones on this site in defense of TMA.

Never again will I fall for this BS. I know about Ali, I buy from Ali, and that's ok, cuz I know I am getting it direct at the best cost. I wouldn't even Fault TMA for taking a small fee, like sell them at $5..that's $3 /unit sold. But what I really despise is, Don't tell me you will refund my purchase and then act like you have no idea that I even purchased the product.

BBB should ban places like this..

The timer rushing you through checkout and the "anniversary sale" should have made me realize this was a scam.

After placing an order I did some more research and realized that they were just drop shipping low quality earbuds from Ali Express. Contacted support to cancel the order, literally 15 minutes after I placed the order, and they ignored my request.

Six weeks later, these earbuds show up in terrible Chinese factory packaging. The left ear bud had the acoustics of a tin can. The right ear bud didn't even work. Cheap plastic construction. I've gotten better ear buds on an air plane. Contacted support again, surprise surprise, they didn't reply.

Kudos to these con artists, they're running a very lucrative scam.

Do not shop here.

Took a while to get my earbuds but the bass is excellent, honestly its a decent deal for earbuds of this quality... the customer service is alright and the only thing I would change was the 30 days wait to receive it
