I can’t figure out how to amend a review. Trust Pilot gets 2-stars. I have now heard from The Rake and things have been resolved. I like the content and think it is 5-star. I docked them one for the hassle and slow response!

The Rake magazine’s unresponsive customer service department

It appears the customer service department at The Rake has been abandoned! I sent them an email on February 13 because they sent me a duplicate copy of Issue #103. A month, month, later Fareha responses. Now it is April 1 (looks like the joke’s on me), with no action nor resolution. It seems I’m not the only client who is dealing with a non-responsive customer service department...

Waiting for an answer !!!

I was sent an email on March 5th to say issue 104 had been dispatched.
13th March l emailed saying l had not received it.
16th March l received a reply stating they had asked for a tracking number.
To cut a long story short we are now on the 31st March .....6 emails sent and still no magazine!!!
Get your customer service sorted out !!!

Shipping is awful

Shipping is awful. October issue was revealed around October 12. I would expect the issue to ship within a few days. It is now December 1 and the issue still has not arrived. Been a subscriber for two years and each issue has taken longer than the previous. I receive a response to my e-mail inquiry roughly 50% of the time. Usually with "it's on the way" or "distributor is looking for it." At some point, my enjoyment of the magazine will be outweighed by the irritation of it taking so long to arrive that I will cancel my subscription. Not there quite yet.

For a magazine that prides itself on great content (which it has) and highlighting companies with amazing customer service and delivery, there's is lacking greatly.

Rake Customer Service

Kasia was great in handling my questions about the magazine. She was quick to respond, friendly, added personal touches in correspondence to make this truly one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a very long time. The Rake would be quite wise to take care of her.

Order issue redeemed by personal attention

Because my order was very late due to a long delay at the distributors -- which was no fault of The Rake -- the delightful Kasia refunded my shipping charge and expedited the delivery as soon as it came into stock. The Rake's very personal standard of service puts them a cut above other online fashion retailers.
