Absolutely beautiful quality fish & seafood! I've been a repeat customer for around 5+ years now. VAR Salmon is always a firm favourite! Only thing is I wish the delivery was quicker but we do live in Manchester which I appreciate is far away - sometimes it takes over 1 working day to receive a delivery and the ice packs have pretty much all melted.

Dreadful company
Dreadful company. They have delivered to the wrong address twice leaving me with boxes of rotting seafood on my return from holiday . Supercilious customer service declined a refund. The problem is with their website that inserts a different address pulled from deliveries from other merchants . Try Rick Stein . Never had a problem with his deliveries .

The order was delivered to the delivery address shown on your order confirmation email, and we did not receive any request to amend the address before dispatch. We remain committed to investigating this matter thoroughly and will contact you with an update on Monday, as promised.
Update: Following a further review, we confirmed there were no issues with our website or checkout process. The order was delivered successfully to the home address entered at the time of purchase, which matches the address used for previous successful deliveries. As no error occurred on our part, we are unable to offer a refund in line with our policy.
Best salmon I have ever tasted, in fact best fish! Delicious!
For my Ruby Wedding celebration on Sunday 12 July 2026 we invited extended family to a buffet. Not being a fish lover, I still wanted to offer a dressed side of salmon to guests. I had planned to order one from the ‘posh’ supermarket. I went online to order on Tuesday and they required 6 days notice, so it wouldn’t arrive in time. I was gutted (pun intended). I reluctantly ordered the Kiln Smoked side of Salmon from Wright Brothers. I am so glad that I did. It was superb. I am pleased some was left over, for us to enjoy again. Every guest commented how good it tasted. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you.

Great service
I have placed a few orders with Wright Brothers and it’s always been great. The last order had a slight problem with the mussels but Wrights offered a replacement without any hesitation. Great customer service, will certainly be buying from them again.

No delivery, just vague excuses, and no attempt to sort it out.
I ordered and paid for delivery on a specific day. At 3pm on the day of delivery Wright Bros emailed me to say DPD had had an "unexpected" problem in Hinckley and my delivery was no longer coming. But not to worry though DPD would probably deliver it tomorrow (don't know when though, as Hinckley is like the Bermuda triangle) and it'd probably be fine as they'd packed it well, and thanks for your patience. Oh and if it is off, "contact us and we'll help you". Wright Bros state they are "passionate about delivering the finest, freshest seafood straight to your door." Shame their delivery partner doesn't share that passion.... I responded saying not good enough, I'm not in tomorrow, and I expect a full refund, as the item had not arrived on time, but got no response from Wright Bros. Pretty clear the email they sent was the standard one when DPD screw up yet again, and they don't monitor the responses and just hope the delivery turns up the customer doesn't complain....
Note the response.... basically a waste of time booking a specific delivery day. DPD turned up and left the delivery outside my house OVER 48 hrs after it was originally dispatched. Products weren't particularly cold and we didn't risk it, so basically a waste of money. You're better off going to a local shop...

As outlined in our delivery information and terms and conditions, delays of up to 24 hours can occasionally occur due to courier issues outside of our control. Our packaging is designed to keep products fresh for up to 48 hours in transit.
We also recommend scheduling delivery a day ahead of any important plans to allow for unexpected delays.
We understand this was frustrating and appreciate your understanding.

Food is good but terrible customer service
Told me it's my responsibility to receive a package they have misdelivered and refused to refund when delivering to the wrong place.
Wright brothers wants me to report a crime for an item they delivered to the wrong place and waste police time. Don't waste your time with delivery from this business.
To update, following this review they tried to take it down for defamatory content despite being my experience

We’re sorry you feel this way. As explained, the parcel was marked as delivered with photo confirmation and GPS . You reported this parcel is missing/stolen from the delivery location .To investigate or issue any resolution, a crime reference number is required this was clearly requested, but not provided. We always ask for crime reference number as this may help the police also with further crimes in the area .

'Grey' Langoustines
On arrival a plethora of 'frozen' langoustines were discoloured, resembling a grey/brown colouration. In no way the vibrant colours expected from 'fresh' langoustines. Instantly discarded at great expense. Risk not worth taking despite half hearted reassurances from the organisation. Avoid, a much better product/service to be found elsewhere.

Unboxing a Wright Bros fish delivery is truly thrilling! The variety of fish, such as sea trout, lemon sole, cod, plaice, and coley, is excellent. Each piece is nicely portioned, ultra-fresh, and perfect for cooking immediately or freezing for later. The frozen prawns arrived in perfect condition, retaining their delightful taste. What a delightful surprise!
