NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Got their resume building and career services. Checked the ATS score from several services because there were no positive feedback for the resume. The score was at 60s. I asked them to rewrite it to get a better score so the hiring mangers will notice it. Top resumes response was I have to wait 60 more days. I was supposed to have mock interviews. That wasn’t done either. Just sent some documents and did a presentation on negotiations, which I didn’t even need. they “distributed my email to 200 recruiters/hiring managers” which I don’t even believe actual emails. Please don’t spend money on them.

The resume had typographical errors. My address was omitted. There were exaggerations and various grammatical errors (past present tense) in the resume. What a joke. I emailed them and no response. What a joke!

This resume service is second-rate at best and nothing more than a money grab. If Inhad to do it again I would save money and invest in something that would support my career change.

I recently used TopResume and overall had a good experience. Connecting with my resume writer, Steve, was the highlight. He was professional, offered solid ideas, and made the process smooth. Reaching out to their team wasn’t difficult either, and their responses were usually clear and helpful.

That said, I did find the process a bit complicated. It seems that they have different platforms, and I purchased the package that included both a resume and job application support, but when I had questions, I wasn’t always sure who to contact or how to get quick answers. Sometimes responses took about a day, which made me nervous since I was working with limited time. Still, once I did get answers, they were detailed and cleared things up.

My only other concern is that, while the resume looks professional, I didn’t notice a huge difference between my original version and the new one. Hopefully this updated version will help me attract recruiters or land the job I want.

Overall, I would say TopResume provides a professional service and strong support, but the process could be made simpler and more efficient for customers.
