Top resume is a good website, their compay is good, but there are some bad things that I went though myself. I built by resume on TopReusume(more spsificly career.io their parent company), the writing part was good, it was easy and nice. But when it comes to downloading they require the subscription to download it as a pdf, or docx file witch the minimum time is 7 days that cost just under $5, but thats just bassicly where this story begins, when I tryed to buy the subcription(I needed it to be able to have a good copy of it that wasen't just a txt file), it payed but it failed on there end but I still got charged. Then I tryed to reach out to them, they were farily nice and helpfull and got it applied to my account. But then this is where it went badly for both me and them, without my permission or even asking me, they canceled my subscription and refunded, I was obviously mad because I was still working on the resume and I was only able to download one copy of it. Now I am stuck here with a good resume siting on their website that I am not able to download(at least not in a good file format that isin't txt), I just had it applied on the day that I am writing this review, and this same day just a few hours after getting it applied to my account it was refunded without my permission or approval, and even after I emailed them after they canceled it with no permission, I was clearly pissed but also trying to stay professional, I heard nothing back, I am very very mad at this company, and I will never be using them again. Do not recomend, I only gave two stars and not 1 because some of the staff were nice, but not all..

I made my request. The following day, I got someone for assistance. Immediately, a first draft was sent for my appreciation. I made my feedback. Another one was sent. we worked together on it, then the last one. It was a good experience. I didn't know it was that way a resume must be written. I like it.

A resume is not easy to write because it must be comprehensive to include all the essentials of the qualifications but must be as short as possible. I am a UK trained physician with a lot of high qualifications. Most American Resume drafters are not conversant with UK qualifications and consequently are not best at drafting Resume or CV for UK graduates. For the first time, I have a good Resume from an American based company. TopResume pulled it off to my delight. I have no hesitation whatsoever to give TopResume 5 stars.

Great work, quick turn around and concise language, truthful representation

I have been working with TopResume since 2019 and have always been impressed with the quality of their core services. The resume writing, cover letter, and written communication were excellent — professional, tailored, and very communicative.
Last week, I purchased a service to refresh my resume, LinkedIn, and related materials, and while the writing side was great, the newer services they are offering, such as resume distribution, have been a completely different experience. The process has been complicated and messy, with days of back-and-forth communication and still no resolution. Even the customer service number they provide does not handle these issues, which makes it even more frustrating.
It seems these new services are managed by a separate team, and unfortunately, they are not delivering what is being promised. The customer service from this specific team has been terrible compared to the high standards I’ve come to expect from TopResume.
In short, while I continue to recommend their writing services, I strongly caution others about the new add-on services until they improve their execution and customer support.

My experience with TopResume was excellent, Faye B. was very skilled, and my resume looks amazing. I would recommend the service to anyone who needs to give there resume a face lift.

What made my experience great was the transparency of the whole operation. Top Resume delivered what they advertised! I had high hopes for TopResume, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The final product looked almost identical to something generated by AI—generic, uninspired, and lacking any personalized touch or standout features. For the price they charge, I expected much more in terms of quality and originality.

There was nothing special about the resume I received. In fact, with free AI tools available now, you can achieve the same (if not better) results yourself. My advice: save your money. Use AI to help with formatting and content ideas, and focus your efforts on practicing interviews instead. That’s where you’ll see the real return.

Opportunity to amend or correct the new written draft.

Topresume is a scam. They send me a resume that was obviously AI generated because that was exactly what chatbots that I use wrote for me. They are outsourcing writing to someone in Middle East or South Asia. When I looked at the properties of the document Author name and timezone showed that. The writer "assigned' to me had a fake American sounding name. If I want AI generated content why would I hire someone when I can do myself for free. This is unethical and fraud. I am looking for options to file complaint against them.

Zach was a Superstar! Took everything I sent him including my life information and skills and incorporated that into everything he could. That is very important to me! I let him know I was in a hurry because I had just gotten a notification about a job opening at the place ai had been watching for years.
