TOTAL SCAM- No service at all

My computer crashed on March 12th. I contacted them on March 13th because I was unable to access my backups. Was told they were migrating servers and it would take some time but I would have access to my data. I had to pay for a recovery service, lost tons of work time, had to spend hours recreating work, and months passed going back and forth with these people. I never received a refund, or credit, and after sending NUMEROUS cancellation emails as my renewal approached, these people have charged me once again for this TOTAL LACK OF SERVICE.

I finally got rid of JustCloud, malware and all. Here's how...

This software is crap. See the reviews below. If you have been suckered into putting this stuff on your computer and now realize the mistake you have made. Or, if you thought you uninstalled the software and continue to be harassed by their malware, here's how to get rid of it in Windows 10.
First, go to Control Panel > Programs and features. Find JustCloud and uninstall. If you have already done this, there will not be an entry in Programs and features. In that case move on to the next step.
Second, go to the malwarebytes free download site and download and install malwarebytes.
Third, quarantining the JustCloud files seems to have corrupted my Recycle Bin. That's not a big deal, but you may want to make sure you are willing to delete everything that's in your Recycle Bin before you run malwarebytes. If your Recycle Bin is corrupted you will be prompted to permanently delete the contents of the Recycle Bin. Again, normally not a big deal.
Fourth, run malwarebytes. It will probably detect 3,500+ suspicious/malicious files. All of these are located in JustCloud folders.
Fifth, quarantine or remove the files.
Finally, celebrate, you have thrown off the shackles of this malicious company. These people are the worst.
NOTE: If you saved your credit card information to the JustCloud site to auto pay your account you should sign in to your account and delete the credit card information. As some reviewers have said, canceling your account won't stop these folks from coming up with charges to charge to your account. That's just how these people roll.

That was 6 weeks ago and have heard nothing since. What a load of CRAP they are. Cancelled my DD. DO NOT TRUST ANY DATA WITH THIS SO CALLED CLOUD SERVICE PROVIDER. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Just Cloud Scam

If you’ve ever had any dealings with this company check your PayPal account to ensure you don’t have a ‘pre-arranged payment’ with Just Cloud. Four years ago I signed up for a free trial and then out of the blue, and having never used their services, I received a message from PayPal yesterday telling me £120 had been paid for my ongoing subscription to Just Cloud. After a whole afternoon of back and forth emails and the threat of reporting them to the ombudsman they eventually refunded me my money (though at first they only refunded 50% of the payment). Just Cloud is a scam. Do not sign up for anything with them, not even their ‘free trials’.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They are immoral boarding on illegal. Once you have signed up and they have your card details - I think JustCloud feel this entitles them to do whatever the feel. The first year is cheap, probably because the service is substandard compared to their rivals, in subsequent years the price increases considerably - the only information you have about this is what you read when you first signed up - a year or more ago. Trying to cancel is nigh on impossible. I'm 5 emails in (because email is the only way you cancel apparently) and they still refuse to let me out of the contract.
SIGN UP AT YOUR PERIL.

Scambags, Scumbags, Bye Bye Moneybags

To echo pretty much what everyone else is saying, Justcloud is a scam. I might as well just copy and paste a report I've just written up for them to my bank: This is an online backup service that my dad signed me up for a free trial for years ago (not sure exactly when!) I was never aware of signing up for premium but this is partly my fault for not been on the ball. I cancelled this service well over a year ago and thus have not been receiving their services since, but they have evidently kept my card details (is this legal?) and on 3 July I received an email from Paypal entitled “You sent an automatic payment of £107.14” with all the details on.

I rang them first on 3.7.18 and spoke to “Aaliya,” on the Unrecognised charges department, who got into the system and told me she could see my account had been cancelled and that the payment was only pending. She instructed me to cancel it on Paypal before it could go through so I did this promptly. I then got an email from Paypal entitled “Your recurring payment has been cancelled”. However, on 11.7.18, I got another email from Paypal saying “Your eCheque payment has cleared”. I rang the Unrecognised charges department again on 12.7.18 and spoke to “Ben,” who struggled to get into my account , probably in part due to very laboured communication between us (this is an Indian call centre so there was a language barrier; nevertheless I had not had such difficulties with Aaliya on the previous occasion) and he asked me to email them with a screenshot of my Paypal account showing the payment, which I immediately did. After not hearing back for 5 days, other than the initial automated response that had indicated 24-48 hours for a reply, I rang again, with the misfortune of again getting “Ben”. I told him about the email I sent, spelt out my name and email address for him as requested, only to then be told that their system was down so could I ring back in 3-4 days or email the same address again? (incidentally on both these occasions, Ben could not spell my name right even when I used the telephone alphabet very slowly) This all sounds highly suspicious to me. I then hung up but then rang the cancellations department and spoke to another “Aaliya” to simply ask if she could ascertain when exactly my account was cancelled, without initially mentioning my problem. After spelling everything for her again, she also told me the system is down and to ring in 3-4 days or email. This seems very suspicious!

This company is nothing but a scam

This company is nothing but a scam. I used their free trial and cancelled it May 2017. They were even able to confirm that when I reached out to them yesterday because yesterday, April, 2018, they charged my account $119.28 for a service I did not have and had cancelled.

The guy on the phone has a thick middle eastern accent and was hard to understand. He even had me spell my name 15 times because he didn’t understand me either. He first tried to tell me I wasn’t charged, then he said I was charged through PayPal... they charged both my card and PayPal...

I asked for a manager, and the same guy just changed his voice to a better accent. It was the same person though. He told me to call and dispute he charges with PayPal and my bank... when they’re the ones who wrongfully charged my accounts.

This company is a scam and they’re full of crooks.

Absolutely avoid this company!

Absolutely avoid this company!

Been paying them for years then discover a problem with myiTunes music in May.

It turns out my backups are NOT THERE! I have been told "check every 4 days, we migrated to a new server, the scripts are written manually, success does not come without bumps" continually which is all frankly bullsh*t and what they have been telling plenty of other users over the past 15 years.

You cannot SPEAK to a help center just email with 'an advisor' with trendy americanised names when they are probably sitting in a call centre in Bangldesh fielding complaints and peddling the same lines out.

Absolute scam and liars - do not touch!

5 Year customer | 2 TB of irreplaceable memories VANISHED

2 TB of irreplaceable family memories VANISHED without a trace.

I signed up for Just Cloud services in 2012 because their product offering at that time was irresistible. "Unlimited Storage for the same price as Google's 250GB plan." if I paid for 3 years up front. That was a no-brainer, and for 3 years Just Cloud provided a service that performed exactly as described.

After the 3-year mark, Just Cloud began billing my credit an annual storage fee that drastically exceeded what their initial offer described in 2012. On top of that, they charged several inexplicable "upgrades" I never added let alone understood. "-$22.43 for Supercharged Backups."

That's just money, I can make more money, take my storage elsewhere, learn my lesson and move on.

Now for the taking my storage elsewhere part.

After spending several nauseating hours on their mish-mashed dashboard searching for my files, as well as a few mind-numbing email and phone exchanges with 'tech support'. The only progress I have made is, "We apologize Mr. Bryan.."..."Your case has been escalated, Mr. Bryan."

This is just a call center in India paid to read a script. They are not techs, nor do they have any earthly clue where your files are located.

The gut wrenching reality has settled in.

Just Cloud has lost virtually all of our storage. Irreplaceable videos and pictures of children's birth, a wedding, a father playing the piano a few weeks before he passed. All gone.

We are heart broken.

Forget the money this company is taking. Losing people's memories out of incompetence, or even worse malice - is just criminal.

Good online backup provider

I have been using Just cloud for last 6 years. I had started using this app when they used to charge $1/month but now they have increased the prices substantially.
Till now, I haven't faced any service or payment related issues.
Features:

There are couple of features, which are missing in this application, VIZ, file search option is not there - every time I need to check the folders to look for a particular file; backup from hard disk is not free - they charge additional fees for this; Sync folder does not work and also there is no option to create a folder online.
Plus points
Just cloud allow users to backup n number of machines - one at a time by transfer the license, which is one of the best feature; also during the backup, it automatically replaces the older version of file; compare to other provider, upload time is less - no throttle.

JustCloud have lost over 300Gb of my data…

JustCloud have lost just about all of 300GB of my backed up data, in the form of 320,000 files and 17,000 folders. 12 emails back and forth and in every one they ask for the path of the missing file (yes, singular). I tell them the original device no longer exists and I can't possibly provide 320,000 paths. They reply asking for the path. 12 times. I have tried to process a cancellation. No point in wasting more time asking for a refund. This is the most disgraceful show I have ever encountered, of incompetence and lack of any kind of responsibility. Nobody is even trying to help.

They have taken my money and not given the service offered in return, by any possible definition. Posting here and anywhere else I can find, to contribute to the attempt to not let this dreadful company continue to get away with it. Just avoid these people and spread the word.

Poor if not fraudulent practises from Justcloud.

I had cancelled my account two weeks ago and then this morning discovered that they had managed to access my credit card again and have taken two years subscription.
Also, Justcloud do not allow you to download all of your files at once unless you complain and then they give you access.
Don't waste your money with this company...........they are also very expensive.

Stay away from Justcloud

Stay away. Rubbish service.
Needed to restore my music library only to find that the restore function wouldn't allow me to access all my files. In total I estimate about 10,000 missing or inaccessible. Responses to my emails have been rubbish. Lots of excuses but no solutions.
Would give 0 stars if I could
