Pretty Satisfied

I've using justcloud backup for more than 2 years now. And I must say it's one of the quickest backup solutions you can get. I have an account with unlimited space and I've uploaded over 140GB of data in this time. No hassle and silent uploads in background.
4 stars because of slow upload speed. You've buy another module to get speedy uploads.

1AVOID

I just got an email from Gabriel@JustCloud saying “There has been a lot of press coverage lately about the Government and Internet Service Providers monitoring your online activity and keeping logs of your browsing history”, and its inviting me to join its service. I regard it low to use such scam stories to trick people into spending their money. What do you think?

Do not use

Twice I have lost all my files on just cloud, just wiped out without trace. All my company files, accounts etc. Will never trust my files to this kind of service again.

Do not recommend

I do not understand why should I motivate my decision to cancel my account and wait their answer - I found it an unfair attempt to hold clients and their bank cards. The first internet service I've ever faced which was so easy to enter and so hard to cancel.

Dishonest company

Justcloud.com market their 'Unlimited' backup product(s) as totally unlimited, then hide 'fair usage' restrictions in the 'small print' of their terms and conditions.

Mobile phone companies for example have similar agreements, but this doesn't make Justcloud's any less underhand.

JustCloud are impossible to get hold of on the phone and awful to deal with via email. Yet when you're account is up for renewal they never leave you alone.

A terrible experience and never to be repeated. I also reported them to the UK's Trading Standards and I think everyone with a similar complaint should do the same, otherwise they will just carry on profiting from underhand (and hopefully soon to be illegal) practices.

One star is too much.

Stay Away!

I googled JustCloud for some time before signing up and it looked good, BUT for some reason i forgot to check TrustPilot first BIG MISTAKE!!

Now i could write a foot long review on how greedy, annoying and crappy this service is, but I already spent more than 6 hours (stretched out on two days) on toiling with JustCloud;

first trying to get support on why I was not activated as a paying member, then working my but of (in vain) to get their mobile service working and finally after realizing what a bummer of a near to scam-like company and service they are and provide, trying to get out of JustCloud.

So I will cut this short and just say: "STAY AWAY!"

Now the only reason why i "Give" JustCloud 1 star, is because they let me go and payed me back all my money. Hopefully you will get back all of yours if you made the same mistake as me.

Just Rubbish

Do not use this company.

They take your money send you the wrong invoice, wont send you the correct one a real headache for my accounts!

They do not respect a "Cancel my account"

See other reviews to see, what is included regard speed and size of files. I confirm this, and feel bad, that this is not well communicated by the company self.
The 24 hours backup of no-video files works fine.

I found no easy way to cancel subscription, so I send a clear statement of Cancel My Account.
I got quick response, offering me 3 months free, and kind questions to tell them why I want to cancel.
I used some time to make a detailed and fair response on Why.
I also included a totally clear message of Cancel My Account!

I got response with 6 months free, AND a statement of "By not replying your ticket will remain on hold and we will not know you wish to continue with cancellation".
This really pissed me off, so I now use time to share experince here.

If you want 3-6-xxx? months free, just tell to cancel.
But I recommend not to even start cooperation with a company, that do not respect a Cancel My Account statement.

PS. by the way the responses was only by occasion read by me, as it was in spam-filter. I was "happy" to find the response on the ticket overview, while cleaning up in some old windows.
PPS. JustCloud is only simple, slow 24-hours backup of no video-files. Everything else (syncronizing more than tiny space, backupo of video, more often backup, normal speed of upload, etc.) - cost (a lot) of money.

Terrible company, terrible experience

Don't use this company. The backup is terrible as are their apps. Mobile sync is incredibly limited unless you purchase that particular add on. Ignore the reviews by various unknown bloggers on the internet, this company is terrible! Avoid!

Terrible experience, not recommended

Extremely slow and unreliable, with little customer support. I have reviewed these before elsewhere and was incredibly unhappy at the time, paying for such a bad service. It took me four hours to download 2GB worth of files from them!

I'm back to complain again. Out of the blue, after not having used them in 18 months, I get a £44 bank charge from them, for an account I don't even use.

Avoid the stress and financial loss.

They have withdrawn money for at non existing account

Last year (2013) JustCloud closed my account, due to many files, and that was OK with me, but last week they have by them self withdrawn money from my Paypal account for using JustCloud in 2014 and a year forward. Call them, but they just put me on hold. Now I have reported them to PayPal. How can JustCloud withdraw money from my PayPal account whit out ansking me first.
Shame on them.

Unlimited backup is not unlimited at all

I started out being a very happy customer. Justcloud.com is fast and the GUI is nice. I was so happy that I bought 2 years license with unlimited backup and a lot of their extra services a year ago. But a few days ago I recievd an email telling me that my account was flagged. I had uploaded about 1700 GB data. I was told to cancel my account within 30 days and move to their Business account wich cost a lot more. To get 2 TB of data it would cost me 125$ a month. I cancelled my account and asked for a refund - at least for some of my money - as I had payed for two years and not even used one year backup. But they denied giving me any kind of refund.

I will not recommend this company. They are not telling the truth about their products and I will never use Justcloud.com again. Instead I have found another online backup that gives me "real" unlimited backup for only 50$ - a year!!!!

Keep away from Justcloud.com if you do not want to get a bad surprise and pay a lot for nothing.

Add ons Add ons - you are not getting what you think you are

When you sign up you think you are getting unlimited storage but you are not. You have to pay extra for everything - this is not clear on sign up at all.
Then once they have your money and you ask to cancel as they have mislead you they email you over and over offering this and that, saying how sorry they are that you are going - so why arent they clearer up front about what you get for your money then. It doesnt change the fact that they mislead you up front so once you take an initial offer there will be more things that you have to pay extra for too.
I dont like the way they do business at all and find their approach misleading and unclear - if it sounds too good to be true (unlimted storage) then it is folks! and thats certainly the case here.

Unlimited?!? - not even close

I purchased the unlimited account in the expectation of actually being able to create an unlimited backup of the contents on my computer. And yes I did read their product description before purchasing, and found no mention of all the upgrades I would have to purchase afterwards to actually come near "unlimited".

1. Backup speed was extremely slow - so first I had to purchase a "speed upgrade".
2. Then I discovered that the software only makes a backup once every 24 hours - so you have to purchase another upgrade to get it to update more frequently.
3. Now I have just learned (after using their system for 5 months), that video files are now a separate upgrade you have to purchase - it simply ignores extensions mov, mpg, mts etc
4 .... AND if these video files are bigger than 1GB you also have to purchase their "big files" upgrade.... (which is still limited because it will not backup files larger than 5GB in any case)

'Unlimited' is definitely not the word I would use to describe their subscription with. Unlimited upgrade hell - is a better description.

!!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I have been using this for a while now, and I have had nothing but problems! They also say you can use flash on iPhone, which leads me to be not very confident in what they are selling/saying at all.
I also found out they use Zip Cloud and try to keep it a separate business when its the same company.
I would NOT recommend!
