Extremely disappointing experience

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Travelolo after purchasing two Wowcher vouchers for a Berlin Christmas Market trip (22–24 December) at £139 each.

When I redeemed the vouchers, I received a call from a Travelolo agent who claimed there was only one flight available, departing in the evening and from the furthest airport from where I live. This was simply not true — I had checked flights myself just before the call and could clearly see multiple options, including from Stansted, the closest airport to me.
I was then pressured into accepting a completely different destination (Hamburg) on different dates (29–31 December) and told I had to pay an extra £158 on top of the £278 already paid. The agent was extremely pushy, repeatedly telling me how “good” the deal was and how “lucky” I was, without giving me time to think or consider alternatives. It felt like classic pressure selling.

To make matters worse, I later realised the arrival airport is Lübeck, not Hamburg — meaning additional travel, time, and cost to actually reach Hamburg. This was not clearly explained during the call.
I find it unacceptable that a company can sell a deal at a fixed price and then demand extra money because they cannot deliver what was advertised. I have had a similar situation with another travel company before, and they handled it professionally by issuing a refund instead of pressuring me to upgrade.

After reading other reviews, it is clear this is not an isolated incident but a repeated business practice. Customer service also appears to be non-existent once payment is taken.
I would strongly advise others to read reviews very carefully before booking.
