Stay away if you don't want to just give money away!

Wouldn't even give one star but it won't let me review without putting a star. Absolute appalling company take your money say they've posted it, still not arrived after 2 weeks and the tracking information is saying nothing available, ask for a refund and get refused, a other week go by still no tracking information. Will be reporting to trading standards and opening a fraud case with the bank to try and reclaim my money. If you don't mind just giving away money then order away otherwise stay well clear of this shoddy company!

We have responded to this customer explaining that Royal Mail delivery services speeds are currently at an appalling level. Despite shipping on time and on a 24 hour service, Royal Mail have not done their bit. We advise all customers to select carrier delivery should they need something urgently. This customer decided to select Royal Mail for economy and, with this service, once posted there is little we can do to chase down a delayed delivery.
We have refunded the customer in full upon request and have asked them to reject the parcel upon delivery so that it can be returned to us.
There is nothing shoddy about our company which has many thousands of very happy customers worldwide.

Order was Delivered to Incorrect Address No Resolution Offered

I placed an order with UV Gear on 1st Nov (it's now 5th Dec). They shipped the item fast, but it was delivered to the wrong address (not the address that I specified at checkout; confirmed by APC's GPS coordinates, along with the signature not matching my receptionist's signature).

I contacted Mark via email and received a blunt response stating that the parcel had been delivered. When I presented plenty of evidence that it had been delivered to the wrong address and requested a replacement or refund, he stopped replying to my emails (he replied to one email stalling saying that APC would have to redeliver the parcel, but then nothing after that; I've sent three follow-up emails).

My final email, which was sent one week ago, requesting a full refund yielded no response or refund. I have now requested that my bank step in to resolve this, and will also be filing a report to Trading Standards shortly.

This is extremely disappointing, and very unprofessional to ignore emails like that.

Roughly a day after posting this review, the seller finally got back to my email and issued a full refund. I have changed the review from one star to three stars.

Just received a call from a scammer who told me the card details (the full card number, CVV, exp. date and billing address, also my email address that was used with their site) that had only been used with this company. I suspect that my details may have been sold on after the above experience.

First and foremost, we want to assure you and all our customers that we prioritise the security of your personal and payment information above all else.

Like millions of other small businesses we utilise Stripe, the leading payment processor known for its extremely robust security measures, to handle all our card payment transactions. Additionally, our website is protected by Cloudflare's Enterprise Web Application Firewall (WAF), one of the most advanced security solutions available, to prevent unauthorised access to our site and the encrypted data it processes.

It's worth noting that the email address you used on your order has appeared in data breaches related to other major companies, which may have compromised your information as far back as 2018.
None of these companies have any connection to us or our online systems in any way whatsoever.

MyFitnessPal: In February 2018
Thingiverse: In October 2021

While we cannot control breaches outside our infrastructure, we continuously enhance our security measures to protect the information you trust us with. We have today conducted a thorough investigation and found no evidence of a breach within our systems.
