This is a terrible company. It is easy to speak with someone which is nice abd they try to be helpful but sadly their billing is confusing and they seem a bit incompetent. I went months without a bill despite numerous calls and emails and of course by time I did get a bill it was huge. I have now moved and thankfully with different provider, but still having problems. I now seem to have a credit on my account but rather than just pay this into the bank account they have taken direct debit from apparently I have to now get in touch to tell them how to pay me! The actual bill makes no sense as it says I have a credit but also amount outstanding!
Dreadful customer service
Charged the earth to escape
I am very happy with the service you provide.
Been a customer for a number of years. Have always found them competitive on price and customer service has always been polite and helpful. Have recommended them to a friend in the past who has remained with them also.
Utility Warehouse was recommended by family who had switched to UW. My bills are small so initially I doubted I had much to gain, but by taking up the broadband, mobile and energy services with UW, I immediately reduced my monthly bill by £20.
The cash back card also saves me a few pounds every month so I am delighted I did switch.
The UW rep who helped make the switch was efficient and on hand for help with the changes. Since then, any issues, questions have been dealt with promptly and efficiently via email and phone. I have been impressed with the service and delighted with the savings.
Following the recent installation of a smart meter the Economy 7 overnight storage heating and hot water failed to come on. Numerous calls to Utility Warehouse didn’t resolve the problem, although attempts were made by UT to reset the meter wirelessly. After a week of trying, and at our insistence, a different electrician came to physically check the meter and wiring. A part on the new meter was changed, phone and wireless checks with the smart meter team made, and the problem was deemed solved. However, the heating and hot water failed to come on the next day again after the overnight E7 charge time. Further calls to UW ensued over the following week but the complaints escalation team member attached to this case eventually said that at the UW end all possible wireless check had shown a live supply to the heating and hot water so the problem lay with our equipment, despite our rational explanation that 4 major (3 heaters + the hot water) pieces of equipment would hardly fair simultaneously. Our own independent electricians came to inspect the full electrical distribution board and wiring and came to the conclusion that the fault lay in the isolation box beneath the meter which was part of UW’s responsibility. There wasn’t a neutral return cable linked up inside the box on the Economy 7 side of the wiring to enable the live feed to flow through the heating and hot water equipment to work. As soon as this was cable was linked up the water heater light indicator lit-up!! The 78 year olds lady who lives in the property is profoundly disabled, has extensive paralysis of her right arm, hand, torso, leg and foot, is extremely speech restricted because of severe stroke damage, yet manages to live independently with 2-3 daily visits from carers and frequently from myself, her Power of Attorney. Utility Warehouse knew this from the first day the problem was reported and the storage heating and hot water has been off for 20 days because of this problem. The only slight saving grace is that the UW staff have dealt with the problem courteously during the 6-7 hours spent explaining it during the probable 10-12 phone calls I have had to make - not really worth the minimum one star required to leave a review? I am writing this with permission on the lady’s behalf.
Discussed my options with respect of choice of Energy Tariffs and advised accordingly. Professional service, but had to wait 15 mins plus to speak to customer services.
Everything about UW exudes excellence from prices to service to communication and explanation of charges.
I would NOT go back to any other provider
We love the fact that we can have all of our utilities from one company Utility Warehouse, very good value, good customer service and one easy to understand monthly utility bill. Always quick response if any problems arrive. We would definitely recommend Utility Warehouse.

Utility warehouse gives great value for money, been a customer of there's for many years and would never change,I have electricity, gas, phone and internet bundle, very happy.
I've been with UW for over 16 years and although it hasn't always been plain sailing, overall I'm pretty pleased with the service.
Excellent response when problems occurs with broadband. We have dual energy which monitored by smart meter and keeps us aware of usage. Have recommended utility warehouse to family and friends.
Have always had very good service. Thankyou very much..
Excellent service, great idea giving money back at the end of the year if there's money over! If there isn't and you've used more than you thought, they spread your payments over the year so you hardly notice it!
No hassle, easy to move suppliers, wish we’d have moved sooner, cash back card is brilliant and saves us so much on our bills. We’ve had no issues with the services, free LED lightbulbs installed too! What more could you need!
