I have just received my Black version, rather disappointed that it is not finished on the edges, appears to be cut off a roll.
So yes light weight but not as good as the original

I work 12 hours a day and i would say after about 3, 4hours it loses its elasticity which means it falls down freely just wear a normally or home made mask much better waste of money

My family and I have used virustatic shields throughout the pandemic. We have not had any problems with fit and find them comfortable to wear. Wearing the shield gave us confidence to go out particularly in the early days of the first lockdown. Post pandemic I will always wear one on public transport, particularly in winter

The product arrived promptly, is comfortable to wear and gives a feeling of confidence when confronted with crowded indoor locations. If I ever get on an aircraft again this will be a must-wear.

This is a great UK company and a brilliant product. I bought myself and each member of my family a Virustatic mask at the beginning of the pandemic and we are all still using them now. This has meant that we have not had to purchase any of the polluting disposable masks to add the the environmental burden these are creating. An additional bonus is that we have also saved a lot of money in the process.
You can really trust this company and the product - they have great customer service and have also helped small and growing businesses during the pandemic. Excellent all round.

I purchased one of the shields when they first came out last year... I have asthma and work in a heavy machinery environment and need to breath without restrictions. The shield fully met my requirements and I can only praise them. As with all products they have a shelf like ... but if you adhere to the instructions they will do what they say on the tin. Purchased directly, young get better customer service and fast delivery.

Have purchased 4 of these for my husband since the pandemic started and he is extremely happy with them.

I have seen people wearing these and they highly recommend them. So I bought 2 for myself and my wife and they are cheaper buying from the company Virustatic shield and quick postage and excellent communication as well.

I've been wearing them since last May 2020, and yes, they're tight at first, but loosen with wear. Once they're annoyingly loose and don't tighten up with a wash, I cut them into inserts for my cloth masks. I wear them in all high-risk situations, unless I'm with people who doubt my intelligence and want me to wear an N95, in which case I wear both. I haven't had a problem with the quality, but my last purchase was a few months ago, maybe it's a new development? I wish they'd do colors, like black. Oh, and I use my glasses to hold them in place. They do slide down without my glasses on. But mask tapes do exist out there for purchase.

Bought one , but very tight and not as long as looks in pic , if over my nose it hardly covers chin let alone have a bit of spare round neck as saw in pic. I don't have a particularly big head either

Waste of money, bought one each for all the family, no one could get them over their head, only suitable for a child!

I really like the Virustatic Shield, particularly since I sewed a small fold around the top and threaded some elastic through. It now sits tightly over my nose and does not fall down. I would like to know more (in lay mans terms) about the science behind it. At the moment I am trusting that it works, but in terms of comfort it is ideal. I am a teacher and wear it every day. I bought three and try to rinse them as infrequently as I can in order to extend the life of the coating. It is great as I always have it round my neck and move it up or down from my face as I need to. Teaching with a mask on can be tricky but the voice is not as muffled using this shield. I would not get on with it as well had I not added the elastic to the top however. It was such a simple adjustment to make. Do publicise this product more widely and explain the science, with the data that you have collected. A brilliant design that prevents mask littering as the shield stays snugly round the neck or could act as a hair band when not in use on the face.

Bought these for myself and family, who knows how protective they are, I assume not at all so keep my distance from people and sanitise everything! All I know is that they are comfy to wear and don't make you look like Hannibal Lecter!
If they reduce the amount of virus transmission that's a bonus.
