Best bra in this hot weather

I’ve bought quite a few bras from this store and to be honest, they are the best thing since sliced bread. In this hot weather I don’t get redness and sore and no heat rash. I have a scar on my back just where the bra sits and these don’t rub or make the scar itch. Easy to wash, dry and wear. They are not a support bracket quite frankly that doesn’t matter to me. A huge thank you to Alexander, his mum and team

Just wonderful

Just wonderful items. As someone prone to skin irritation and various other sensitivities, the softness of these garments is really superb. There has been careful thought given to the designs, which avoid gratuitous and overly exposed seams, and this is great from a sensory perspective — you barely notice you are wearing them. They are clearly breathable, too, which I can say has been well tested in this recent heatwave. I can totally see why these would benefit the primary intended audience of those going through menopause or in recovery from surgery — and for those outwith these groups who may be seeking comfort, temperature regulation and breathability for other reasons wondering if these could be beneficial to them too — the answer is absolutely. I must say I was skeptical on buying my first items, but now “believe the hype” and have since reordered as I was having to run the washing machine all the time so as to have my new preferred items constantly available. Customer service was incredibly responsive when I had a query about my order and immensely friendly. Super to know they are made in the UK, too. A feel good purchase, in every way! Thank you so much for making me more comfortable.

Sensory friendly underwear

Not cheap but the quality of the fabric and the sewing is spot on. I have sensory issues and I’m perimenopausal and wear a lot of bamboo fabrics, which is soft, but this is another level of softness. I treated myself to a set after breast reduction surgery as non-wired bralettes are now an option.
This underwear is great for sensory issues. A lot of the underwear that is considered zero feel is synthetic so not breathable and not great for skin health. This is breathable and super soft. It’s cool against the skin.
Yes it isn’t going to cure perimenopause symptoms. That’s a big ask for underwear. However, it’s another addition in my toolbox to make me more comfortable.
The company are very responsive to emails and feedback. I suggested a few other items they could make that might be helpful, and these are being looked at.

More guidance on Sizing needed

The product and concept is great but the information to guide on sizing needs more work. S M L is a bit ambiguous for bra’s. I got advice on what would be the equivalent to a 34C and advised that M would suit best. They sort of fit but also feels too loose as if the straps are too long.
They have washed well, but I have since ordered 2 in small size but worried there will be too big a difference. Watch this space!

A company that really cares

I recently discovered Alexander Clementine, and I honestly can’t praise them enough—not just for their beautiful, sustainable lingerie, but for the exceptional kindness and care they show to their customers.

As someone who’s very petite (a size 4), I often struggle to find bras that fit well around the ribcage. When I received my first order, I loved the quality and softness of the fabric, but found the fit a little loose. I reached out to the company to ask whether they might consider catering more for smaller sizes—and to my surprise, I received the most thoughtful and personalised response from Alex.

They went above and beyond, searching their warehouse for an XS size, which they kindly sent to me. It fits perfectly and feels like it was made just for me.

The bra itself is so soft, breathable, and incredibly cooling—something I deeply appreciate as a woman who’s been plunged into early menopause following chemotherapy. Wearing something that feels gentle and soothing against my skin is not just a comfort—it’s a relief. I also love the range of colours!

What touched me most, though, was how genuinely I felt listened to. So many brands overlook women like me—those navigating breast cancer recovery, body changes, and treatment-induced menopause—but Alexander Clementine didn’t. They saw me, responded with compassion, and made me feel included.

Their commitment to sustainable materials, ethical production, and thoughtful customer service makes them a rare gem. I’m truly grateful—and I’ll absolutely be returning for more. Thank you Alex!!

These are sooooo comfortable!

These are sooooo comfortable and they really give shape and support. I now have three as have been so pleased with them! I had two scoop backs and have just received my first triangle bra which fits perfectly, gives support and has great adjustable straps. The scoop backs are great for everyday wear and under t-shirts or tops whilst the triangle will be perfect with strappy tops and dresses. The straps stay in place (this is down to really thoughtful and clever design), they wash well, keep their colour (and colour does not run!), and don't collect sweat under the breasts. I am saving up to buy a couple more in different colours as whilst they are on the pricey side I feel they are worth every penny and it feels like I am giving myself a little treat when I wear them!
