USELESS

Needed router cutters for a job, ordered with prime for next day delivery to a locker, no delivery. The locker was inside a store that closed at 8pm, they apparently tried to deliver at 8.21pm. Are they so useless that the drivers are unaware of closing times. Contacted Amazon, all apologetic, promised delivery first thing next day, guess what, nothing. This is during the May bank holiday. I get the feeling the driver counldn't be bothered and thought I'll deliver all I have left after the holiday.

Order

Order - 171-0953813-9953949 The worst service Amazon UK and Amazon UAE provided my order number which I ordered on 15th May was not delivered to me and after 8 days of ordering that’s is on 23rd May they say it will get delivered on 15th June so I cancelled my order and now waiting for refund from Tamara as Tamara has hold my hard earned money and not issuing refund fast don’t know why so my huge amount of money stuck in air as of now

The manager Amazon spoke to me really rudely and made out it was my fault that they had sent me the wrong product

Ordered a boat for a family day out on bank holiday Monday the Boat was £80 its was an adults Boat however they sent me a £20 child’s Boat when I phoned up they were so rude that I asked to speak to a manager who was also rude I said I need the correct Boat sending by Monday if possible they said no they can’t do it even though they didn’t even try terrible experience don’t think I’ll be shopping with Amazon again

Blocked from ordering

Trying to purchase an amazon kindle - made an error at payment and now the system has blocked the purchase. Customer Service apparently cannot help - absolutely ridiculous. Have never had an issue or heard of a purchasing limit!

Called Customer service for Amazon

Called Customer service for Amazon. Her name was Nisha. She refused to get me to a Supervisor, then refused to give her badge number, refused to give her last name. Then I told her I did NOT want a call back and she still put in for one. She said she couldn't unlock the hold on my account and then she CANCELED my order I had already placed and paid for. I told her I was going to report her because of all the above things she did and on top of that she kept talking over me. So, I said she was being very rude and will be reported tomorrow.

Amazon keeps getting worse

I have been an Amazon Prime member for several years. Amazon used to be a good company. Especially over the past year I have noticed that the quality has gone very much downhill. I have had problems with the quality of a number of things I have ordered from them.

Most recently I bought a “Prostorm” umbrella that was supposed to be windproof. It colapsed the first time wind hit it and left me soaked.

I had to jump through hoops and trick their horrible AI chat garbage to get tyo send a complaint to the company that sells it.

I looked at other “windproof” umbrellas and saw many complaints about the same experience I had with mine.

It seems Amazon is strictly selling items of poorer and poorer quality. I seldom see brand name products anymore.

Where is my refund?…

I ordered a carport which needed to be returned. Amazon arranged the pickup and received the item on 5-5-26. It is now 5-22-26 and I have still not received my refund. I disputed the charge with the credit card company and then received an email from Amazon stating that I should have not disputed the charge with credit card company and just let amazon handle. That was a few days ago and still no credit. I have bought so many things from Amazon over the years and based on this latest issue I will no longer be an amazon customer.

Nothing's perfect, but Amazon is Great for us!

Nothing's perfect, but overall the 2 people in our household LOVE Amazon. We live in a small "city" (i think of it more as a larger town) in a semi-rural area. Even if we lived in a megalopolis, we'd be happy with it. Yes, deliveries are sometimes late. Yes, sometimes something arrives damaged. Yes, some third party products are crap (buyer beware: read reviews carefully and we buy almost exclusively only when there are many reviews.) But here's what matters: unmatched selection; you get to read listings and reviews to learn the real scoop, product dimensions, etc.; reasonable prices; usually free delivery & returns with PRIME (yes,it costs, but it's done well for us overall); GREAT customer service (use the chat function and they do make good when a problem with the item); most deliveries arrive on time; and most (though not all) 3rd party sellers want to avoid bad reviews or complaints to Amazon, so they likewise bend over backwards to please if you're nice when contacting them (use the "ask a question" feature on the seller's page). It takes some time to learn how to do things through the desktop version or the app, but overall it's been time well-spent. Not only can we usually find what we're looking for, but we also discover and have bought SO many things that we never imagined (didn't thing existed) that have made our lives better. Our lives are SO much easier -- and no, I'm not an influencer or someone who spends all their time shopping on Amazon. Personally, we think Amazon is a huge plus for America!

Prime is not worth the value anymore

I pay a significant amount of money for Amazon prime, and frequently items are delayed 4-5 days as standard practice now. That is not acceptable for a premium service. I ordered some same day delivery items at the beginning of the week for a trip this weekend, and they still have not arrived.

Disappointed After Years of Great Experiences

I’ve been a regular customer of Amazon for years and usually had great experiences, which is why this was disappointing. I placed 3 different orders and all 3 got delayed. I could understand one delay, but not every order at the same time.
What frustrated me most is that some packages were already at the Amazon warehouse and instead of arriving the next day, they got pushed back another 3 days. Reliability and convenience are a big reason people use Amazon, and this experience didn’t reflect that.

Hellish customer service

They used to have decent customer service but now even when a courier marks the parcel as lost/undeliverable they put me through a three day hell before even replying to me. The chat people just lie and repeat themselves and good luck reaching a human by phone who has any clue about how things work where you luce. They read scripted responses - poorly - and just refuse to do anything. The phone center in the Philippines has especially rude agents. U have digital content here that I guess I’ll keep using but I can’t trust their delivery system or the ethics whatsoever.

So here I am again

So here I am again, airing my views on Amazon.
TWO YEARS ago my adult autistic son bought some toothbrush heads from Amazon. Remember, please TWO YEARS! Then, out of the blue earlier this week my son recieved notification from Amazon saying that he should not use these toothbrush heads as they could cause damage to his teeth. They informed my son that he would be sent a refund.???? TWO YEARS!!! Of course they have been used and worn out by now and coincidentally my son has endured a terrible time with his teeth.
What the heck is this all about?
TIFFANY......who is an Amazon representative and appears during advertisements on Prime TV. She declares that our parcels and packages are as important to Amazon as they are to the customer. Tiffany talks about the scrutiny that each product, each seller undergoes in order to sell on Amazon.
So what about the eye stye treatment that I bought, eager to relieve the pain in my eye. As this 'cure' was dripped into my eye I suffered a terrible burning sensation. That happened twice then I decided to research the production and the content of this eye medication.
Lo and behold the contents were assimilated to hair bleach and should not be put into eyes as the liquid can cause irreperable damage.
So, Amazon, where were the checks here? Supposedly all checks are done before any item can be sold from Amazon.
I notified Amazon of my findings and to their credit, the product was removed from the site. How many other people had already bought this remedy and what if anyone suffered real damage to their eyes? Where were the checks here? Maybe, if I hadn't reported this dangerous stuff, I would hear from Amazon in two years time, just as my son had been. Finally, who is going to pay for the damage to his teeth caused through an inadequate item?
