My online order took over 2 months to arrive and when the delivery date was confirmed the courier service would only give me a time slot 24hrs before the date. Won’t use them again!
Definitely would use again
Well informed with delivery. Never used company before but saw on Which website. I would certainly use again. Unlike other companies it was free delivery. Better price than others. Was given just a 4 hour delivery slot which meant I wasnt waiting all day. I was kept well informed from delivery driver who was extremely pleasant/polite. Nothing too much trouble. He even wheeled my old machine outside for me.

Ordered a BBQ and upon ordering asked the preferred delivery date which was entered. Received no information from them on the order or delivery. On the day of preferred delivery called the company to find out when it would be delivered to be told it would not be delivered as the item is not actually in stock!
This was not communicated with us at all and after this they have gone on to mark the item out of stock. I would not recommend.

Ordered a bbq which is great but unfortunately missing some small parts. Contacted appliance centre about this as soon as item was delivered almost 2 weeks ago but still no update on the missing parts. Delivery was also slower than expected

Atrocious client service and delivery
After placing my order and being told that I could expect delivery at some point the following week... I heard nothing from them but when I enquired after two weeks, I was told that the items were, in fact, in stock and they would be delivered. I booked delivery, installation and removal of the old fridge-freezers.
Just before the delivery date I was informed that the delivery company had gone bust and they would have to be rescheduled later with another company. This new company would not be able to install the units for me. Nevertheless, I took the day off work to receive delivery as scheduled. As the day progressed and there was no sign of delivery I called in to ask, only to be told that they had forgotten to load the units onto the van and so it wouldn’t be delivered and we would need to reschedule. Wasted day off work #1!
For the rescheduled date, I was told that the delivery would be early in the day due to the driver’s route, but when it was approaching afternoon I called the delivery company and they told me that it would be between 2–6pm. Just before the office closed at 5pm I called again to check that the driver was still intending to come to me. I was then told he would be with me around 7pm! Wasted day off work #2... I could have comfortably gone about my regular day and been home in time for this.
When I wrote to The Appliance Centre to complain, I received a half-baked “apology” that was rather full of excuses and blame shifting than anything. My request to log a formal complaint was completely ignored.
Their service and lack of proper communication or client care has been utterly atrocious from the beginning through to the end, and it has taken me a month since ordering to get my fridge-freezers, despite being told one week. I would not recommend this company at all.
Good service overcame some difficulties
A good price for the bottom of the range Miele washing machine, but there were problems with the delivery. We initially paid an extra £190 for installation and removal of the old machine. However, Kaboodle, the delivery company went bust, through no fault of the supplier, and the delivery was, accordingly delayed. Moreover, the installation service could not be fulfilled, although the old machine was removed for recycling. However, an alternative delivery was arranged and a refund of £160 for the installation offered. This was slightly delayed but that may have been down to the banking system. I managed to install it with no problems myself. All in all very good service and an excellent product at, as said, a good price.
