Cancelled original order without reason, jacked up the prices after. Do not buy here!!
I ordered an iPhone SE 2020 at Backmarket.es on the 29th of October, received an order confirmation and was immediately charged. The price at that time was 381 Euros. Without giving me any notice, they put the money back into my account two days later. No cancellation email, no reason as to why they are doing it. The only thing I see on the website is that I was reimbursed. By now the price has increased by 40 Euros, which basically makes the phone as expensive as when I buy new.
It seems like they had a bit more demand for the phone and just decided to cancel my order with no reason.
There's no possiblity for me to get in touch with them on this issue. The only option they allow for is to say "I need a bill" and then get in touch with a customer rep. That person was not useful at all, replied super late and did not explain anywhere why my original order was cancelled without advising me.
Strongly suggest not buying here!!

We're very sorry that things didn't work out the way they should. The seller cancelled the order because it was out of stock, because many times when more than one customer is paying for the same purchase then it is assigned directly to the first one who made the payment.
As far as price variation is concerned, this depends on each seller, and it's not that the seller cancelled the order to raise the price, but rather that the one you paid for was already sold out and then another product was added at a different price depending on customer demand.
