FAKE 5% DISCOUNT ON BAX SHOP WEBSITE..AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I have previously had a problem with Bax, when they sent me a set of speakers that were supposed to be brand new but were faulty and damaged.
This time I purchased a microphone kit which was cheaper elsewhere, but i was given a discount code for 5% off on my purchase as advertised on the bax shop website.
When I went in to the basket to make my purchase, i was give NO OPTION TO ADD THE DISCOUNT CODE, even before and after I logged in to my paypal account, and the website just continued to take payment for the full amount.

I straight away contacted Bax to give my 5% discount as offered on the website as i have the code or to cancel my order if this is not possible. They ignored all my requests and just kept my money and sent the item.

I then sent numerous emails to Bax Shop on the customer service email from the website. Its been almost a week and I have received NO REPLY WHATSOEVER other then continuous spam emails on giving them feedback on their products.

I then contacted Bax Shop on Facebook, explaining my situation, and they just replied back saying your discount code is expired!! They have given no explanation as to why the code that was sent to me was expired which was sent shortly before i made my purchase, and they completely avoided going in to any detail with regards to helping me get the discount that they are misleading customers with on their website.

I have also made requests for them to take the item back for a full refund, as they state on the website customers have 60 day money back guarantee, but i believe this is completely false information and it is used as a tactic to encourage people to buy i the first place.

Please don't become victims to this companies misleading selling tactics as you will have problems getting your money back or giving products back.

Buying is good, returning faulty equipment is very poor

I've purchased a few things over the years from Bax Music and their delivery is usually very good. However the same cannot be said for their returns/repair process.

In November 2018 I purchased a Roli Seaboard Rise 49 from Bax which has become an integral part of my recording workflow. However, in September it developed a hardware fault which was confirmed as such by Roli.

I obtained a RMA number from Bax and returned the keyboard using their shipping label. Three days later it was received at the Bax warehouse, and an acknowledgement of return sent to me by Bax. I was informed that the investigation of the fault and the repair/replacement (even under manufacturers warranty) could take up to 5 weeks to complete.

After 5 weeks I started to contact them and was told a number of times that the RMA was still being processed. After 8 weeks they admitted that this had gone beyond a joke and would send me a replacement unit. I had to wait another 7 days to receive it but was happy to finally get a working keyboard back. Wishful thinking. The product packaging looked shoddy and it didn't contain all of the items that my original model did. Even worse when I tried to register the keyboard on the Roli site I was informed that this keyboard's serial number had been registered two months previously. To top it all off the keyboard had a fault (a sticking note). So, it appears they had sent me a previously used unit. I contacted Bax who said that I should have been sent a new unit and issued another RMA.

Off the second keyboard went back to Bax. The UPS status showed that it was delivered on the 11th of December to Bax but I had no update from Bax to say they had received it. I contacted Bax on the 12th and again on the 13th to see what was happening. I was told that they could see it was delivered to themselves and it should be scanned into the returns system within three days of receipt.

Nothing was showing by yesterday (16th) so I contacted Bax again, as I have nothing else to do in my life. I was informed that this was unusual for the item not to be showing up but they are very busy at this time of year. I was asked to wait until Friday and if it was still not scanned in then they would raise an investigation as the unit may be lost. No apologies, no expedite. I do not have much confidence that the return will be scanned in by Friday so have no idea how long the investigation will take.

It will be twelve weeks tomorrow without a keyboard that I returned under manufacturers warranty, and I am no nearer to knowing when this issue is going to be resolved than I was twelve weeks ago.

Slow response, no delivery

I purchased an item with the promise that it would be delivered on the following day. A week after I still haven't received it. They took 48 hours to reply to my email and sent me duplicated responses, so they have two people working on my case at the same time without any real updates as the delivery was returned to them for a reason that they admitted they do not know.
I see you reply to negative TP reviews within the hour but you're stil unable to actually get back at me via the proper channel. I received a new email today from a different person with completely outdated information.

How unfortunate that your delivery was delayed. Our service is to deliver it the next day, if you ordered before 23h. When thousands of packages are processed in one day, something can happen to cause delay. We can see that your order was refused at the parcelpoint, perhaps because they thought it was too big or something. Our apologies for the inconvenience, we will send it again to your work. Delivery problems

I am satisfied with the customer service of the guys, but due to the poor customer service and delivery options of GLS (the delivery company Bax Music uses), I am totally dissapointed. I've been waiting for 3 weeks now. Returned a package, ordered another one and still it has taken a lot of time! And the refund is not complete as well, because one of the packages is lost somewhere in the depots of GLS.

Again, not blaming Bax Music, but really think of the delivery option you send your packages with!
