This looks and feels a solid quality basin waste. It went in very quick and easy with the supplied seals, I didn't need to bother with plumbers mate or silicone. So far all good.

Not recommended. The plumber who installed our sink could not get this basin waste to connect properly to the plastic waste pipe underneath. He said the threads were not compatible. So I had to dash to screwfix to find another, which fitted fine. The Milano one ended up in the bin. ***Update 3 days later: customer service reached out to inform me that they had made a refund of the purchase price. I had asked the plumber for the defective part at the end of the day so I could send it back for a refund, but he said it was in one of his waste bags and couldn't find it. So I do appreciate the spontaneous gesture made by the customer service team, without me asking for it.
Compliments the vanity unit and works very efficiently.
Goes very well with the sink
Standard uk McAlpine ptrap doesn’t fit the diameter of the waste is smaller than the female end of trap so you have to shave the end down with a blade to enable you to push it in and tighten the nut . It’s only a couple of mil but it’s enough to make an easy job hard.

Very nice fitting when installed with a metric 1 1/2" to 32mm Metric adaptor (not supplied), otherwise lots of time eaten until you realise that the two components are not compatible.

Looks and feels very expensive, if only the bottom section screw thread would fit to a standard plastic P trap then I would give it 5 stars.
