Too Good to Be True… But It Wasn’t

I had just sold my Audi S3 and needed a reliable run-around fairly quickly. I was specifically looking for a VAG car within my budget, but after searching around, I came across quite a few questionable dealers operating under multiple names. At that point, I honestly didn’t think I’d find a genuinely well-looked-after car.

I came across a Golf listed on Autotrader by Car Care Ealing and decided to head over the same day.

When I arrived, I spoke with Dan and mentioned I had called earlier about the Golf. He immediately handed me the keys and let me take my time looking around the car. First impressions were great — it looked very clean. I took it for a test drive, and it was exactly what I needed… almost felt too good to be true.

When I got back, I told Dan I wanted it. The whole process was smooth and quick — again, almost surprisingly so. I drove the car home and it didn’t miss a beat.

Dan was brilliant throughout — friendly, helpful, and transparent. He took the time to go through everything properly. I was initially a bit sceptical due to the amount of major work reportedly done on the car (timing belt, water pump, etc.), so I booked it in with my usual garage who specialise in VAG vehicles.

They carried out a thorough inspection and, while they couldn’t verify every piece of work that had been done, they gave me detailed feedback confirming the car is in very good condition. There are a few minor jobs to sort, but that’s just normal wear and tear for a car of this age.

Overall, my experience with Car Care Ealing — particularly on the sales side — has been very positive. I can’t comment on their garage services, but from a buying perspective, they were excellent.

My French registered Peugeot 3008 broke…

My French registered Peugeot 3008 broke down (starter motor).
CarCare was just down the road. Danial came to look at car with a battery booster and diagnosed starter motor. Very helpfull had the car recovered to them.
Car left there late at night, they fixed by early afternoon and I collected.
I was able to continue my holiday. My French breakdown service no help at all.
I have used CarCare many years ago when they were Saab Ealing.
They were very good then as well, fixing a roof motor for less than a tenth of the price a main dealer wanted to charge.
I would highly recommend.

Excellent Service

We bought a car from here back in February and were so delighted with the service and the condition of the vehicle. We had been really struggling to find the same kind of value anywhere reputable in London. They really are the best.

Then, a few weeks in I scraped the side of our lovely new car!!! I called Dan who was super kind and quick to help. They managed to get the body work looking brand new in less than a day and went above and beyond by valeting the car so it really did feel like a new car when we picked it up.

It's such a breath of fresh air to have friendly, professional and experienced service.

We will be repeat customer for sure!

Car Care Ealing

Daniel, the owner turned out to be a decent chap. I brought my car in as the heater was not working: he flushed the heater matrix and said all was fine. It wasn’t. HOWEVER, Daniel did repair it and it works like a charm now so thank you Daniel!!

Left my car with them for a electrical…

Left my car with them for a electrical fault. They changed an item which till today is not as perfect as when I gave the car in. Most disappointing is, was called twice to pick the car up saying all is well, first time failed to start at thir premises and secondly I was stranded at the M4 upon collecting the car. Told me there were other faults and another garage I took it to fixed the car in a day. Dissapointing. Say if it cant be fixed and when told what the problem was they claimed to be specialist and did not want to listen to what was actually wrong . I was spot on with my diagnosis. Ok for basic work nothing complicated.

Took my mother for a ride

My mother who is 70, took her car in because the water tank was cracked and needed replacing.

They said she would need the cam belt replacing, the head gasket, the gasket needed to be ground down and replaced...etc etc. The total bill was £1300. They gave her a list of problems and then said they could do her a favour and take it off her hands for £50 for scrap.

My mother took it for a second opinion and in fact the water tank was cracked. It was replaced in an afternoon and is running fine.
