Lost its way
After being with Circleloop for 12 months quite happily, unfortunately in the last 7-8 weeks the app has degraded to the point where it's basically unusable. Daily issues with calls cutting off repeatedly, unable to log in, our menu options not working so customers can't call us, users being set to offline when they're not so calls aren't being directed to them. Engineers seem to have no idea how to fix the issues permanently. Maybe there was an update or something and it's just broken the thing entirely? But after weeks of issues, our sales and customer service taking a hit, it's no longer a suitable product for us and unfortunately we are having to search for a new provider, we can't rely on the service any more. Such a shame, as it was good, reasonably priced and reliable product until recently.
Just wanted to update the review based on the reply received. We are no longer with Circleloop, some divisions of the wider business are but my division moved in September of 2023 as we saw no improvement after 6 months of issues. There were many offers of calls and conversations with engineers and managers, but to no avail - we were promised calls and emails but they wouldn't materialise for the most part. As I'm no longer a customer myself I thank you for your offer of a conversation but it might be best directed to another colleague who still uses the system.

I've used Circleloop for our businesses…
I've used Circleloop for our businesses for over 3 years and have had very few issues until recently. The last 2-3 months have been awful - there seems to be every other day at the moment... calls dropping out mid conversation, app not working properly, not being able to login to the app etc. It impacting our business and their developers can't seem to resolve it.
We're moving our phone service to a different company as we cannot rely on Circleloop anymore.

Log on to Circleloop and all I get is a blank screen whereas before everything was working properly. I cannot get through to the Helpdesk as I need this in order to make calls due to my Mobile coverage being poor indoors.

Not suitable for Business use
Headsets HAVE to be direct wired USB or the call quality is unusable. When I've queried this they blame using wifi and suggest hard wiring with ethernet. This is far from practical for an office environment. The headsets I've tried work perfectly with any other app apart from Circleloop. They claim this is the case as they pride themselves on having the best quality?!
Also when sending texts the app will often send the same message multiple times. This happening all the time makes us look really unprofessional.
It has periods of hours where it appears to work but overall the shear amount complaints we get from customers about the call quality / calls randomly cutting off / being logged out multiple times a day / the issue with texts, render this service pretty much unusable as a business.

Fantastic service
Been using circleloop for several months now, we made the switch after our previous phone company kept increasing prices and offered none of the benefits that circleloop does.
Overall its a fantastic company / platform, it works really well and gives us a more professional image with features such at the waiting messages and open / close times.
I think its fair to say you only know a company when theres an issue, Ive had to contact support twice for minor issues, both times they've been super responsive and sorted the issue quickly. Big shout out to Dan for this!
Highly recommend them to anyone.

Always responsive and deliver what they say on time ... every time! While the rest of the industry tries to make telecoms complicated and expensive - these guys make it simple and cost effective. Stand out praise for Vee in Customer Support and Sarah who handled our number porting exercise - both extremely helpful and patient when needed. Just try out these guys using their 7-day free trial - you won't regret it - a real breath of fresh air!
Way too complicated to get started
Way too complicated to get started. I installed an app as it was suggested on the website, but the app didn't open without a sign-up. Finding where I actually can sign up and create my account was not obvious neither from the website nor in the app (it just didn't have any buttons or links). After surfing several different pages on the web-site I eventually got to a sign-up page but then it didn't go through and the system said I need to apply for support in order to sign-up....So a lot of time wasted, no calls possible. Two stars just for promising interface.

Simply the best virtual call/sms solution!
I needed a solution to having an extra business line without carrying two phones around. I use an iPhone; I looked into esim’s directly from the phone networks but you can’t take one out separately. Along came Circleloop after a google search. I analysed the information on their website and immediately realised it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I signed up for the free 7 day trial and was absolutely delighted with the service. I’ve opted initially to sign up for the ‘pay as you go’ plan, as I’m only a small (but expanding) business, in the future no doubt I’ll be upgrading to the unlimited plan that Circleloop offers. I use Circleloop primarily via my iPhone, but also on a laptop and desktop pc. I would honestly urge anyone who’s looking for this sort of business solution to give the 7 day free trial a go and I know you’ll be pleased with it. Another sign of a truly honest business is that they do not ask for card details for the 7 day trial!
I’ve interacted with Lukas from the Circleloop team, when I had a few questions about my account. I reached out to customer services and he very kindly phoned me and gave me all the information I needed. He was very helpful, he had plenty of time to help me out and was very kind and courteous.

10 months in and not a bad word to say...
Used CircleLoop for 10 months so far I cant complain, I've got the app on my phone and a few desktops, i can use my headset with it on a desktop or answer a call as normal on my phone. I also have a mobile number, which we use for whatsapp, which really allows us to expand our business to customer communications.
Sarah made porting a number over very easy.

So disappointing that I have to leave this review.
I have been with Circleloop for years now. But lately the service has been diabolical.
We are based in Spain with businesses both in the UK, Spain & Belgium. The international call option (to call our customers in Spain and throughout Europe) didn't work for over two weeks. So our team have been using their mobiles. Not very professional at all!
Our desk phones didn't work for over two weeks. The app wouldn't allow us to call customers in Europe either!
Now our hold music doesn't work on inbound calls either!
We've spoken with the manager Zac and get promised callbacks and resolutions and we have to chase them for answers!
Credit where credit is due, the service was great on up to this point but I'm highly frustrated by the lack of communication. The lack of support and things not working! It's not what we are paying for!

Great customer service in a world where this is now rare!
The first call I made to circleLoop was instantly impressive as the agent was engaging, personable and clearly efficient- I was blown away to be honest as I have been used to customer service within large organisations such as BT, Barclays etc providing increasingly poor and inefficient customer service- its a sad state of affairs when we are impressed by a company being efficient but CircleLoop are definitely on the ball- great staff!!
