I ordered a snowboard bag on November 23rd, it appeared to be in stock and available to ship. Purchased the bag, instant payment confirmation.
December 16th and still no sign of it arriving, no replies to emails.
Absolutely shocking service.
Definitely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

Do not trust customer support!

I placed an order with a discount code but selected the wrong payment option. After calling Dakine support they told me they will cancel the order and I should place a new order a standard price, the value of the discount code will be refunded afterwards. However after doing so I got a reply telling me they are "sorry" they shipped too quickly to make any refund...looks like I was fooled!

Good products but very bad experience with the customer service. I placed an order on line. The system charged me twice the amount of the bag. No way to contact someone on the phone skilled enough to solve the issue. Only solution proposed has been to send back the bag at my own cost.

we regret your inconvenience - unfortunately however this didn’t occur to a system error. By accident, you must have placed two similar orders for the same bag yourself and once you noticed the problem and informed us about your mistake, both orders were already shipped. Of course, you can always send the second order back during our legal revocation period of 30 days. Thanks for understanding however, that in your case DHL had already charged the additional shipping costs.

I dont recommend buying here they say…

I dont recommend buying here they say they have a warranty but dont deliver when it is time to get the warranty. My bag was falling apart from the inside out and they voided my warranty.

Just been in touch with Dakine customer services re my roller ski bag (purchased 4 years ago) On my ski trip this year the carry straps and handle on the bag snapped because the polyester had gone brittle and started crumbling (making it unusable and an environmental hazard too). Their website says that they have a lifetime warranty on defective materials...of which this is clearly an example. They replied (quickly) that the bag was 10 years old (clearly I had purchased old stock which I was unaware of at the time) and because I no longer had the receipt they could not offer me a replacement but only a 40% discount promo code! (what makes them think I wish to purchase another defective product??) So much for their quality assurance and promise of a "lifetime" warranty against defective materials. DAKINE should honour their warranty or remove it from their website as it clearly is not an all embracing policy. My advice is to avoid purchasing DAKINE in the first instance as their name is certainly not synonymous with the quality I expected when I purchased the bag and certainly as a company they do not live up to their online quality assurance and warranty claims... AVOID.

It has been the worst purchase I've…

It has been the worst purchase I've made in years online.
I ordered 4 items with the order number 10349540.
Two of the objects came to me clearly used and one destroyed.

I sent 2 emails to contact me for the return and no one responds.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ON dakine-shop.com.

Ha sido la peor compra que he realizado en años online.

Very bad info service and delays on orders.

I ordered one snowboard bag on january, 5th but i hadn't received it two weeks later. One friend bought the same product in other color the same day and he received it last thursday.
I contacted yesterday and today they answer me that they have delays on my product. They offered me to select another color but it is not going to be on time for the travel I have on saturday.
They should adviced me before, on the purchase day or when they see that they are not going to send that product without delays. Maybe I would select another color to had it on time to my travel.
Also I know this situation because I contacted to the website two weeks after the purchase and 4 days after my friend received his order... they don't said anithing to me until I contacted by myself to the customer email. Very bad service and information.

Poor excuse of a company

Ordered online, no contact for 12 days, asking about my parcel. They admitted it was a fault and was blocked in their system. Said it would be dispatched the next day - was not - took 2 days. I requested a refund for the £7 delivery charge which is excessive in the first place, they have just decided to stop answering now!

I just bought a bag and cases

I just bought a bag and cases. We saw the product as one of our friends is using it since last year.
The bag is really good for children's back, make your books lighter.
the case are very well designed, you can stick some pencil and pens, the ones you are using daily.
I really recommend this brand, and better buy the product in dakine dot com as it is cheaper as big market places

Never again

It`s 3rd time when I ordered from Dakine. About 10 years ago I ordered 2 backpacks. Shipment was fast then and backpacks are still in very good condition. Thank you for that. Few years ago before my long-haul holiday I ordered large handbag. Shipment took so long and 3 days before my holiday I finally got my package. Unfortunately I didn`t receive what I ordered. I ordered handbag but received backpack. I was really disappointed.
On 30th of October 2018 I decided to give to Dakine one more try. I ordered Split Roller 110L Trolley/Suitcase because I need new travel bag for my next holiday. Today is 9th of November and my order is still "in progress" status. International shipping time to Estonia should be 4-10 working days. I asked comments from Dakine and their comment was: as soon as your parcel will be handed over to German DHL, we will automatically provide information concerning your Tracking ID. I haven`t received tracking number so my order is still waiting dispatch. My order will be late again.

Unique designs

Dakine is known for the quality materials used and the unique designs they have which makes them stand out to me. I bought a new Mission 25L and after a month of usage it has been the most utilised bag i've used, none of the features are under utilised at all, I'd simply recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality pack that last.

Do not buy from these guys

Do not buy from these guys. I was sent a defective product (jacket) with small tears in one of the arms, and then was asked to pay for the return when I asked them to consider supporting it themselves, given the fact that they sent a torn product.

Their motive was, and I quote: "it is not possible that the jacket has deterioration like the shown jacket by normal usage". That makes no sense, but I couldn't get anything more than that.

On top of that, their customer support is appalling, they simply stopped responding to emails and closed the chat app when I contacted them for a solution.
