After many years buying toasters which worked well but we discovered were usually Chinese made we were determined to buy British and were delighted with our Dualit Lite 2 slice toaster. Unfortunately... See more

Robust, good-looking product. Can't say I've noticed it boiling faster than other kettles, and the easy-pour spout relies on pouring slowly. Hard to see the number of cups poured due to location near handle.

The delivery arrived almost the following day and the order was crystal clean. I ordered a kettle and 4 slot toasters and I love the items. I pray they'll last for long. Thank you very much.

Outwardly solid products sold on basis of quality, repairability and sustainability. But apparently no repairs possible on my toaster - not even an element replacement. Web page on my specific product was unclear / misleading on this. Most toasters cost £20-40. Mine 3 or 4 times that. Check very carefully what can and cannot be fixed. Looks like greenwashing and hubris.

First class toaster, best on the market, expensive yes, but the cheaper toasters don’t work as well and a problem if you just want one slice of toast or want to toast anything thicker than sliced bread

One of the filters in my 30 year old Dualit Combi Toaster stopped working. I checked their website and saw that I could order a new filter. Delivery was quick and it arrived with full instructions.
Excellent company and customer service.

I purchased a Dualit 46202 4 Slice Lite Toaster,,my experience with this toaster was not what I expected for a £115 toaster,,It toasted the bread unevenly, one side nice tan other side had a slight sign of a tan ,,,I even let it warm up for a minute before using again same results , if you look inside one element glows red in places and other slight glow in places, surely these elements must be made/tested the same wattage (ohms) ,,, the replacement Dualit toaster found to have the same fault,,returned for full refund in the end,

Update,,
Hi to have 2 Dualit 46202 with same issues ,,must be a faulty batch of elements ,,,looking now at reviews of Dualit theres seems that uneven toasted bread is main issues ,I am tempted to buy the more expensive model Dualit NewGen 4-Slice Toaster to see how that performs

I don't even know where to begin with this review. My father bought me a Dualit Cafe Plus coffee machine at the end of December 2022. When it first arrived we were impressed with the machine, it felt sturdy, looked nice in the kitchen, and we loved the range of pods we could purchase for it. After a couple of weeks we started having issues, we had specifically gone out and got some 'Lungo' pods, for a bigger coffee, but when we used them with the machines Lungo option the results were the same as a normal pod/shot option. We were disappointed but shrugged this off. Then the machine started not working, you could have it ready to go and sometimes it would just make the noise like it was going to work, you would hear the pressure build up and instead of the coffee coming out you would get a tiny dribble and then all the steam would come rushing out of the top of the machine - in our eyes a major safety issue. The machine was sent back to Dualit to be tested - they report no such fault... even though we had highlighted that it was the luck of the draw as to whether we would get a coffee or not, some days we could get 1, others not. They said we hadn't de-scaled it - firstly it was literally like a month old, and secondly we had tried to but like the coffee pods and the lungo option it just wouldn't push the de-scaler through. They said they did a de-scale and sent the machine back. Low and behold once back with us we had the same issues, we persisted we tried different brands of the 'Nespresso' capsules, and had no change in what we experienced - I would say we have wasted approximately 15 boxes of these pods. I don't think anybody expects to buy a coffee machine that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. My husband and I have never been able to make two coffees one after the other and sit down and drink them due to it not working. So it got sent back again - this is now 2 mornings we have taken off work so that DPD could collect, and shock horror, they've "tested" it and it works fine they say! We have sent them videos, we have described what happens and said if the machine hadn't been used for a couple of weeks it may have appeared okay for an initial test and could they run further tests? But they are now claiming we have had the machine up against something hot, and there is a burn mark on the outside of the machine - this mark was not present when I myself packed that machine back up and it has not been kept against anything hot. Clearly a tactic they are using to now refuse a refund my father because "if" it is faulty it's because we have apparently burned the machine( you honestly cannot make up the level they will stoop to, to avoid a refund or repair). A quick scan on amazon, where they cannot delete reviews on this product highlights the fact that this machine is clearly a flawed design with review, after review, of consumers reporting the exact same faults we have. So we sent these reviews off, and asked for further testing, and also an explanation to why we have nearly been burnt by pressurised steam coming out of the machine to now be ignored. My father said send him the machine so he can film it ( like we did ) and test it to show the fault, and they are ignoring him, so they have the machine and my fathers money. I work in retail, and I know faulty goods when I see them, I also know the laws around electrical goods and Dualit are breaking the law in many ways. I am sure if you purchase a product that isn't faulty and have no reason to request a repair or refund their customer service may be fine as you don't have to trouble them, but god help anyone who experiences an issue. How they can ignore all the negative reviews of their product, steal customers money, accuse them of damaging items when they haven't, and refuse to test the product extensively is beyond me. I think it's embarrassing they are still selling a product that is dangerous and unable to live up to the same bare minimum standards coffee machines half the price do. I would think long and hard before making a purchase from this company.

I phoned Dualit and gave them the model/serial number of my toaster. From there I was told what part no. I should order online. The part was found easily I paid and it was shipped and arrived in the timescale stated. Toaster now fully operational again.
