They left my delivery in the dustbin - perhaps they thought it was rubbish? I will not use this company again.

I am very sorry that Royal Mail left your delivery in the dustbin. That is not an acceptable way to have your item delivered and it is not the service we expect from Royal Mail when we pay them to deliver our goods. I hope the items were still undamaged in the parcel, but let us know if they weren't.

Unfortunately, it is not our courier that we use so there is limited control over how they are delivered and Royal Mail could have delivered a parcel from any company in that way, so I hope you will consider using us again as we could not avoid this particular issue.

Fantastic service

Only used Energybulbs twice - ordered 1 wall fan and service was fantastic. Once we were happy with both the fan and the service we decided to order a 2nd fan (exactly the same). Once again, fantastic service. Will happily use them again

Bad experience with delivery

Have had very disappointing experience with Energy Bulbs after one of the portable AC units we bought from them was faulty. I want to be fair with my review so I should say that when I called Energy Bulbs to report the issue they were extremely helpful, very pleasant to deal with and quick to offer me a replacement. We thus returned it (waiting in all day for the courier), however when it came to the new unit being delivered a few days later, we were only offered the possibility of an all day 9am-6pm TNT delivery which we accepted. However, despite rigourously checking the TNT site all day, all it said was “out for delivery” from 7:55am. No heads up or notice whatsoever as to when the delivery might happen. Well, let’s just say if you want to have an item delivered with EnergyBulbs you better make sure you plan 9 hours at home without doing anything which might mean you will miss the 1 minute you will get to open the front door and take delivery of your item with no notice whatsoever beforehand. Having just popped upstairs to get our daughter up from her nap, it was just when TNT knocked and we thus missed the delivery. Bearing in mind this was for the replacement of a faulty item (so we had already had to wait in once for the original item and then a second time for the courier return of that item, this was the third time waiting in), the delivery service offered is awful. Again, Energy Bulbs themselves are very pleasant to deal with but in this day and age with technology etc it just can’t be right that you have to accept a 9 hour delivery window without any tracking or notice. Very disappointed.

This is something I will take up with our TNT account manager and see if we can upgrade our service so that future customers do receive time slots.

Great. Delivered what i ordered on time

they will take your money even when they don't have stock

In short, EB took my money for an order they couldn't fulfil, fobbed me off and wasted my time for a few days, then said they would refund me in a few days (still not seen the money yet). don't trust them more detail.....
ordered a portable AC unit on Wednesday morning. Rang EB ahead of ordering to check it was in stock and that I could have next day delivery - was assured this was the case. Made the order, paid the next day delivery charge. Rang EB twice on the Thursday to flag I had no status updates to say the unit had been shipped...I was fobbed off with assurances it was shipped and on its way...of course it didn't turn up. I ring this morning to question where the unit is...no one can tell me. Also been told that customer service are so busy I can only speak to someone in accounts and of course they aren't fully up to speed with shipping. now just had confirmation that the unit was never in stock in the first place and they will process a refund in the next 4 days.

I am very sorry for this, I can see that one way or another your order was processed but due to a technical issue it was not received by our external warehouse. As I am sure you can understand, we had an extreme level of orders at this time, with order volumes raising by up to 1000% all of last week.Our Customer Service team was then overrun with queries and calls, to the point that our accounts and marketing team had to take calls. This is extremely abnormal for us but as the level of demand was so high, we had to take measures in order to cope, so I am very sorry that your order was affected.

I can assure you that our normal level of service is extremely good and reliable, and I hope that one day you will give us a chance to demonstrate this to you.

Money taken but nothing sent.

Ordered online and charged. Didn’t receive anything so got in contact to find they’d taken my money but hadn’t processed my order at all. So either a scam or just incompetent/unreliable. Either way. Avoid.
