Slow service,poor tracking,slow response to enquiries

Almost 5 weeks since order placed.customer service can't explain delay and slow to respond to enquiries. Will have to cancel or request refund then never again fishpond.

Great customer service

The company is very responsive to feedback and genuinely seeks to resolve problems. I recently had an issue which was resolved after a bit of a delay, to my absolute satisfaction. Restored my faith in the company and I will use them now for all my book needs.

The estimated delivery date is displayed in two places before you confirm your order.

In reviewing your order, I see the promised delivery date was September 18th and you received it on September 12th.

It's so reliable

It's so reliable. The ordering is easy, the tracking keeps me up to date where the product is and when it will arrive and delivery is swift. I have tried ordering with others and tend to be disappointed by having to chase up non arrivals, only to be told that the item is out of stock.

Fishpond had the cds that I wanted that…

Fishpond had the cds that I wanted that I couldnt get locally in Australia.I received them very quickly from overseas ;safely packaged and at a reasonable price.Ive been a loyal Fishpond.com.au customer for many years now and love the service.

Fishpond rectified Aust Post error

The first book was lost by AustPost (no fault of Fishpond!) - when I lodged a failed delivery with Fishpond, they were quick to re-send the book and it arrived in good time. Thank you very much for that., I really appreciate it.

VERY Unethical !!!

VERY unethical ... deceitful ... nothing but LIARS! I listed a number of books, after checking their prices, and then listed mine for cheaper ... and within a day ... EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR LISTINGS, had gone below my prices!! If that ain't unethical, I don't know what is!!! A HUGE waste of time!

Excellent customer service

I had a great experience with Fishpond. The book that I ordered via Fishpond was cheaper than all other vendors and in an excellent shape. Besides, even though I had made a mistake in writing the mailing address, which led to the parcel being returned to the vendor, people at Fishpond were kind enough to resend it with no additional shipping cost. Highly recommend it.

Just pay a little more somewhere else. Save yourself

They charged me $10 restocking fee after I cancelled order when I was notified delivery would be a minimum 1 month away

We provide an estimated delivery date on each product page to give our customers an idea of how long items will take to arrive. This information also appears on the checkout page before you confirm your order.

Fishpond charges a cancellation or restocking fee because when customers order an item, then cancel it, it increases the costs of doing business - which means we have to increase prices for everyone. The sale for this item was already processed on the suppliers side and they will still release the item to us. e done well up until now except once…teething problems

e done well up until now except once some months ago when you sent me in place of my order a book titled; how to starve cancer. I sent photos of the cover to your employees( no name) but after several attempts i gave up. Just recently i ordered a book on c. p.cavafy that you said was out of print after i had paid for it. when you didnt have your sydney wharehouse things actually worked better. Your co ordination, interaction with the sydney wharehouse
Needs to improve.

Great New Book Site Discovery

Since there was only 1 review on the book I was looking to buy, I was a bit sceptical but it honestly shocked me how fast the whole order was processed and shipped out. I think this is probably a good alternative to other sites because of the great pricing and timely shipping. Pretty happy overall :D

Great bookstore. A rival to Amzon,

A great range of books. I tried to order the book "Quest for Atlantis II" from Amazon but kept on getting a message "cannot deliver to this address" through I am a frequent user of Amazon so I ordered this amazing scholarly work from FIshpond and had no delivery issues.

Good service.

I got the book pretty quickly, but couldn't find it due to a miscommunication with Australia Post (not Fishpond's fault). I contacted Fishpond regarding the delivery, and they replied within hours, enabling to then communicate with Aust Post, and get my book. Fishpond did their part pretty well.
