Swoop is by far the worst airline I have flown with. Airports treat them with least priority. Your bags will be late over carousel and they will prioritize other airlines over swoop even though you ar... See more

Worst policy and customer service ever

Worst policy and customer service ever, pay extra and use a real airline, i will never use this airline again even if it was my last resort. Learn from these reviews and use a different airline. Lesson learned don't use swoop cause it's poop easy to remember.

Worse airline ever

Worse airline ever, hidden fees no customer support, flight changes regularly.

You have to pay for carry on bag so ridiculous.

You end up paying same or more amount for any other airlines.

No food or water is offered by the airline, seats are smaller than normal airlines seats, very small legroom.

Its like bus public transportation, I believe in the future they will ask you to bring your seat with you.

Conclusion pay 100$ more and dont even think about swoop.

Ive flown Swoop from Hamilton to Tampa…

Ive flown Swoop from Hamilton to Tampa and back many times. I have never had an issue. Flights were on time, staff were lovely and everything went perfectly. Maybe their baggage charges are a bit high but that is offset by the low cost fare and the conVenience of a small airport.

Very frightening experience from…

Very frightening experience from Hamilton to Abbotsford, as the chap sitting next to me avoided the use of the mask for what seemed to me a good part of the flight He was told a couple of times to wear the mask properly by the employees , which he did,,,until their back was turned...I told him the the fact that he was not wearing his mask at all made me nervous...he put it on long enough to respect my wish...for a few minutes..I had SARS and a stroke a few years ago...scaring experience that flight...does any body care ??

Cheap but poor responsibility and quality of service

My mom arrived at airport 45 mins before the flight. Their counter was close. No one to assist to check in. And their app to check in online was not allow to check in either. She missed that flight. I called and asked if they could do something because they dont have anyone at the counter for us to check in. It said, no. Nothing they could do. If we want to flight, then buy with the price on the website. Even rebook for us with the same price won't happen. I never had this nad experience from other airline. They alway assist if you missed the flight. They so said swoop is a small company they dont have enough staff that was why they must close the counter 45 mins before the flight. Cheap and poor responsibility from this airline. I won't recommend this airline. I forgot that my uncle had poor experience with this airline before.

DO NOT FLY WITH SWOOP

DO NOT FLY WITH SWOOP! I am a SUPER easy going person, BUT nonsense is nonsense and that is EXACTLY what swoop airlines is! I booked my flight with Swoop for the first time. Although I knew they were fairly new and not as reputable as other airlines, I figure hey, I will still give it a try. The morning of my flight, I received an email from Swoop saying that my flight has been delayed from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM that day due to weather conditions. Fair, no problem. I arrived at the Hamilton airport at about 6:00 PM to catch my 8:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, Swoop decides to make an announcement stating that the flight has now been CANCELLED. There were no alternatives or solutions offered at all. When I asked why the flight was cancelled, we were again told it was due to weather conditions. When I mentioned that is impossible because I see other flights departing from the exact same airport, their excuse then became "we are short on crew staff". WHAT!
After hours of trying to get answers from SWOOP and left completely LOST, I finally decided to pay an additional $900.00 to leave from Pearson INTL, fly to San Francisco, grab a connecting fight to Orange County (which took 4 hours) and then DRIVE another 4 hours from Orange County to Las Vegas, I was promised by a Swoop attendant at the airport that I would receive a full refund and even that has been STRESSFUL. I was refunded $450.00 and I was supposed to be refunded $750.00. Not to mention I lost out on an entire night at my hotel ($200/ night) and an entire DAY of the festival I was supposed to attend which were $610.00 tickets, an experience that I can NEVER get back , I missed out on all because of Swoop.
This is disgusting! Something told me NOT to book with Swoop in the first place but again like I said, I am very easy going and figured hey, let me give them a shot. I am livid beyond words. I cannot WAIT to see this airline go under. They truly deserve to go completely bankrupt and no longer be in service. Swoop is full of it. I have worked in customer service for YEARS so I am automatically more understanding in situations like this by nature, but in this case, I am sick to my stomach with this airline. I have asked for NOTHING but a full refund which is what I deserve and getting that is even an issue. My mother always used to say "the cheapest will always cost you the dearest". Trust me folks, DO NOT book with Swoop. Take that extra $50-100 and go with someone reputable. I honestly think the good reviews are people that work for Swoop logging on and submitting them because they are complete TRASH. If I could have rated you guys NOTHING, I would have trust me.

Swoop is absolutely the worst airline…

Swoop is absolutely the worst airline ever!!
I was only 5 minutes late to check in my luggage they refused to let me in & made me pay full price for another ticket 2 days after, & than they delayed my flight for almost 5 hours & didn't inform us until 6:50 pm & the flight was 7:45 so we would've been in the airport at the time they sent the email. People who work at the airport & on phone customer service are absolutely ridiculous & have the worst attitude ever & don't wish to help anyone in any way. I spent almost $1800 I could've travelled with a different airline, so it really isn't cheap at all.
Because no one was willing to help me I figured to call west jet since they own the company & Mark (ext:5151) from my flight search told me to write a review here on trustpilot. I really hope that you take into consideration this review & do something about swoop airline because no one had one good experience with them.
