Deeply frustrated by my experience with this tutoring service. From the technical infrastructure to the customer service, the entire operation has been completely unreliable.
1. Unstable & Glitchy Platform
• Poor Media Quality: Experienced terrible video and audio quality on both ends during tutoring sessions.
• Flawed Infrastructure: Alternative platforms like Microsoft Teams and Google Meet work perfectly on my setup, proving the issue is entirely on their end.
• Frustrating Booking System: Booking sessions online is a tedious, clunky process rather than a seamless experience.
2. Severe Lack of Customer Service
• No Immediate Assistance: Getting help for live issues is a long, convoluted process with zero immediate support.
• Canceled Help Appointments: They repeatedly cancel scheduled support appointments and direct you to an unmonitored inbox.
• The 14-Day "Black Hole": I have spent 14 days sending emails and making calls with absolutely zero response. Even formal email complaints go completely ignored.
• Trapped by AI Bots: The support system relies heavily on repetitive, unhelpful AI responses that run you around in circles.
3. Incompetent Management Escalation
• When I finally managed to reach a live human being, they claimed they lacked the ability to track down or chase up my open emails.
• Even after strictly following their own email instructions, my request has vanished into a black hole for over two weeks.
This is not a professional tutoring service. Save your time, money, and sanity, and look somewhere else.

Do not agree to subscribe with them. Not allowing to cancel the subscription if you don’t want Tution anymore, keep sending automated emails with rules and regulations which was never introduced before joining. Professional scammers! I had to cancel my subscription by informing the bank, still I continue to get email ( that all goes to spam folder now) asking for me to keep paying even we don’t want Tution anymore.

Mr Anthony is an excellent teacher. He communicates very well with my 9-year-old daughter. He loves his job and is very instructive. Having fun, but it's great to learn the job in the right place. Many thanks to our teacher and GOSTUDENT.

Very poor customer service: During the sales process, I was rushed into signing up earlier than I would have liked to because they told me it would make it easier to find a tutor at the desired day/time. We pay the lessons in advance and then book them. It is a 6-month membership, you can't get out of it if dissatisfied with it. Within a couple of months, the tutor my daughter started with was no longer available: no notice, message, no communication. Just not available at the pre-agreed slot. I reached out asking for answers, not reply. I called their customer service, who told me it was not their problem if the tutor can't be reached and they couldn't do anything. After that, they just ghosted me. I booked a call, they cancelled with no explanation, I e-mailed and there was no answer. They refused to cancel my membership early. I have never been so poorly treated. The worst customer service ever. My daughter missed a lesson with absolutely no explanation or apologies. I now have to keep going, with another tutor, just to spend the money, since they keep charging me as they refuse to cancel membership.

Louise was friendly and put Thomas's nerves at ease. We liked the way it was all explained.

First impressions: Very enthusiastic and motivating. Positive and energetic approach but calm and understanding.

Avoid this company I signed up last year for my son however I had some emergency expenses and tried cancelling I was told that I couldn’t I explained the situation to Cameron Stone but he was really aggressive about the situation saying that I can’t cancel. I think it’s only one month I should be paying for as I cancelled in March, they are claiming that I owe February, March and April. I have proof that February was paid had one class in March and requested for April to be cancelled due to my emergency expenses. Now I’m being hounded by a company called Pair Finance and the best part they are not FCA regulated!

Terible experience with this company. Cannot get to speak to any one, unanswered emails. Worse experience ever.

We had a very disappointing experience with GoStudent. Guliad was relentless in pursuing our sign up, making promises to be able to find a perfect tutor to support our daughter through her A-Level Geography. So we purchased 12 upfront sessions which would lead up to her exams in June.
The first 5 sessions went well. Then her tutor left staying it was too much work to prepare the lessons.
The experience then goes down hill from then on. My daughter had to waste a lesson explaining what she had previously covered with the former tutor.
She had two more lessons with this tutor and then she left stating she had a grievance with gostudent. So a few weeks were wasted while a new tutor was found who then didn’t even bother to turn up to the lessons while my daughter waited for her online!!!! This happened twice!
The last month before the exams gostudent didn’t provide any lessons and when I asked Guliad for a refund for the lessons we never received he said it wasn’t possible.
I have been emailing since June asking for a refund but have had no success.
This is a very ruthless company and it is not at all about supporting children’s education.
I cannot recommend them at all.

They scammed me by giving me 2 years contract without authorization.They mentioned at first I can cancel if Iwant to but later on they denied.Also customer service is very poor it's very hard to reach them.They change the contract on their own and takes extra money too.I am really regretting.I will never recommend go student to anyone

Great teacher, really supportive of my child's progress

I’m a complete beginner in Spanish and have really enjoyed learning with my teacher. She has been incredibly helpful, patient and encouraging from the very beginning. She’s given me clear stepping stones to build my confidence and has made learning Spanish feel much less overwhelming. I would definitely recommend her to anyone starting out!

We’re having a great experience with GoStudent. The platform is easy to use and makes online learning very convenient. My daughter is having Maths and Science lessons with excellent tutors who are patient, professional, and explain everything clearly. We’re very happy with her progress and increased confidence in both subjects. I would definitely recommend GoStudent to other parents.
