**refund has now finally been received - what a lot of time and stress though

We have previously ordered from Happy Cups twice before - unfortunately they have changed the cups used and it was a huge mistake to return this time. They have pitched it as an “improvement” but it’s clearly a cost cutting exercise and the new cups are cheap and nasty - the overall feel and print quality are considerably inferior and the cups themselves are smaller (and do not allow for a beer head) - it’s a step backwards in all respects. Put them side by side with last years’ and it’s night and day.

Whether connected to the overall print quality issues or a separate issue, our printed design was distorted despite our having to sign off the proof. In my opinion this should have been picked up prior to dispatch as part of quality control.

We contacted Happy Cups about this who initially offered a rather insulting and pathetic 15% discount, despite acknowledging the printing was not only lower quality but actually faulty.

We explained that we had spent thousands of pounds on our event and ordered other merchandise with this same logo and therefore we would prefer that they were replaced / reprinted.

Per the timeframes advertised on their website there was time to do this with the expedited service, and we also sourced two competitors who could provide the (older style better quality) cups in time just in case.

Unfortunately, Happy Cups took a week and chasing to respond, rendering both options impossible, and claimed the expedited service advertised was an error on their website. A lame “oh I was on leave and my colleague was supposed to pick this up” was proffered but we believe it was a deliberate running down of the clock to save themselves the cost of the reprint.

When they finally responded it was again only with weak and seemingly insincere apologies, and offering a 25% discount. We have of course pointed out that under the Consumer Rights Act we are entitled to a full refund on a faulty product for which they are unwilling or unable to provide a replacement.

We were unable to get cups printed in time for our event, and this was a massive disappointment - even the full refund we have requested and are entitled to does not make up for this.

(Currently still waiting for our refund - they have said they will provide one after collecting the cups).

I would advise not to touch Happy Cups with a barge pole even if you have been satisfied with their product in the past. Not only will you be getting cheap tat this time but if anything like my experience their poor customer service handling will waste a lot of your valuable time.

The EU team contacted us and have now practively tried to help us out! We are very grateful for this!

We used Happycups in 2025 and they delivered a product above and beyond what we expected. Truly an amazing provider!
This year we contacted them again we were forwarded to their partner instantly based in the EU, since we are buying from Norway. The product we recieved this year couldnt even resemble the quality we expected and the communication lacked transparency and honesty we feel. It saddens us that this partnership has ruined the quality for outside of UK buyers and even more it saddens us that this affects our current event. We have tried contacting them again but a lack of response has left us highly demotivated and out of choices for our upcoming event. However happycups UK deserves all the credit they can get, thereby the 4 stars.

We ordered 7500 cups for our Cave concert venue. They were delivered on time and the quality is first class. We charge our customers and ask them to re-use the cups during the event and then take them as a souvenir. Our plastic waste has reduced to zero!

Have ordered twice in the last 2months and both times the service, communication and product has been amazing! Delivered within deadline and one of the orders turned around in super quick time! Will definitely use the company again 🤩

I have used Happycups for 3 events now and the cups are great but it’s the customer service I appreciate most. They guided me through the process of getting the art work right and offered welcome incentives to return the following year. They ALWAYS answer the phone and emails which is great when you need to make an urgent change to a delivery address. I’ll be back for a 4th time next year for sure

Were very helpful and polite when we had to change our design multiple times (us not them). They also delivered before the dates we needed even though we didn't give them much time - again us not them!
Printing on the cups is brilliant and they went down really well during our event.

Easy to deal with on the 'phone, clear on process from order to delivery, design submission and review / amendment was easy - and the cups look great!

Such a great team - super responsive and so very helpful! Our festival cups look amazing and arrived in great time. We’ll be back for next year’s festival!
