This was our first time buying in New York City and there was a lot to learn. I watched some very informative videos from Nick at Hauseit and contacted him to help us find a condo in Manhattan. He put us in contact with Dav Ren Gao, who ended up being our buyer's broker.

Over 2 long weekends, Dav showed us 23 different places. He was very attentive, patient and knowledgeable. He responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and expertly guided us through the whole home buying process.

Hauseit is the future of real estate. I tried the assisted FSBO and it was very well done. I was very worried about any hiccups since I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything was set up very well. The automation was done well. There were a couple things I had to follow up with, but they were very responsive and helpful. I would recommend the FSBO option as their process is very streamlined. Of course any DIY option is difficult so I recommend doing a lot of research, buy a phone call with them for any questions or advice. Appreciate Hauseit's flexibility and help. Look forward to using them again in the future!

Really thankful for Nick and Jessamine's help in making this rental a smooth process. As I was out of the country with a 13 hour time difference, initially I had some concerns how it would play out. However these were quickly resolved as Jessamine efficiently coordinated photos, listing, showings, tenant inquiries / offers / application procedures... communication was effective and we were able to find the right tenant in very short time. Nick's insight at critical decision making times were also very valuable.

If I could give 6 stars I would. In addition to saving me a HUGE chunk of my closing fees (about $11,000), the Hauseit team has been very supportive in the context of a very difficult transaction. I would highly recommend Hauseit to anyone purchasing a condo/home...I have never heard of any company who gives you back 2% of the brokers' commission to be applied towards closing costs before I was referred to Hauseit by a friend. My experience with Hauseit was great. From my first call, Chris Zhou explained the process and answered all my questions. I was then assigned Margaret Michalski as my agent who was wonderful. I ended up purchasing a new construction condo where there was very poor communication from the seller agent. Margaret would keep pushing and following up with the agent and even used her personal connections to get me answers to questions on TCOs, closing status, keys etc. There were some other issues as well and Margaret was very reassuring and the voice of reason which I needed. She helped me see the big picture and to not get caught up in the little things. I appreciate her insight, tenacity, and her ability to remain positive. I would happily work with her again and recommend her to anyone.

We are deeply indebted to the team for helping us through the rather unique co-op apartment purchase process in NYC. We couldn't have done it without the timely, professional brokers from Hauseit. Given that this is not a normal year and the selling process is still affected with the pandemic, we had a great experience with Hauseit; in particular, with our broker, Xiaodong Yan. He was very efficient, responsive and knowledgeable about our building's area. He was great with setting up showings with potential buyers and flexible with times during the restrictive pandemic times. He was informative, prompt, and had our best interests in mind when getting the buyer to come up in price. We fully trusted him during the process; he was terrific with being hands on for several of the steps, allowing us to be hands off during most of the operation. He worked well with the buyers to help facilitate the board approval process and setting up all necessary correspondence. We highly recommend Hauseit and Xiandong in the buying/selling process!

Hauseit made the experience of selling my place solo very easy. I purchased their Professional package, and accepted an offer less than 3 weeks after listing my apartment at a time that was very challenging. Their resources (videos, FAQ, blog) gave me all the tools I needed for a successful sale, and the quality of the photos and 3D tour contributed to the success. They were responsive, and all inquiries were quickly forwarded to me. If you have reasonably good sales and people skills, I would absolutely recommend their assisted FSBO packages - or the 1% option if you prefer everything to be taken care of.

We used Hauseit for purchasing a co-op in New York. The agent we were matched with was very pleasant to work with, responsive and understanding. Due to Covid, the process was very much drawn out, and our agent was remote, but this didn't feel like a huge difference, since she stayed in contact throughout, and we tend to be quite hands-on anyway.

I strongly recommend: hauseit.com. They offer a few a la carte options: 1. 1% seller listing , 2. 2% rebate back when buying, 3. There is also an option to pay a flat fee for direct access to all the listings if you have the time to do a complete FSBO (For Sale By Owner). In addition, you can pay for a broker to run your open houses by the day. I think if you are able to get your own photographer etc these are the best deals. Personally, I got quite lucky for my sale. I was losing confidence in the market and decided to seek out renters instead of selling. The renters mentioned at some point they might be in the market to buy. I proactively gave them my best offer upfront without any seller or buyer fees as a win-win. This got me close to what the top of the market would have been for me. I will definitely be working through Hauseit for any future NYC transactions: smart, innovative, good communicators, easy to work with.”
