I really want to give no stars...the…

I really want to give no stars...the sign up process was repetitive and then sent me am email welcoming me to Izettle and click the link to follow through...i did this and it took me back through the registration process again...i then decided to call the customer support number which i add two different numbers. I was on hold for over 10mins the lady Maria did not want to give me any other names and when I asked to speak to a manager no one was available...I was told to email my questions, this is absurd...is this company regulated as customer service is attrosious I did request a call back bet I don't get one....be wary everyone...not because you get lured in with a cheap rate does it means it good or even ligit...

Great company! Easy simple and reliable when it comes to POS and Payments, up and running in no time together with swift payouts, can't complain! PS also beautiful reader.

Opened account last week

Opened account last week. Client paid invoice, email requesting information about transaction promptly replied too, nothing , sitting on my money for nearly a week without a word . No replies from the so called security department , called a couple of times literally got no help at all.....being forced into a position where I ll refund my client and see another payment portal. Sham of a company so far .

iZettle sold me a defective card reader, and then refused to replace it!

I bought an iZettle in June 2018, but found that I never needed to use it until last week. But when I came to power it up, I got a message saying 'Reader Damaged', even though it had sat in its box since new.

When I asked iZettle to replace it, as it had clearly been defective at the time it was sold to me, I got this 'p*ss off' response:

'Hello Alexander,

Thank you for contacting iZettle.

I am very sorry to hear about the issue you are having with your iZettle Reader. This means that your Reader needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, as informed to you when you called our Support line, your card reader is no longer covered by the 12 month warranty and we can't replace it free of charge.

However if you would like to purchase our newest model please reply to this email letting us know if you would like us to place an order for you with a 50% discount for £29+VAT, the desired delivery address and color for the card reader (black or white).

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and feel free to get back to me if you have any further questions.

Misleading

Misleading, they state 1-2 days for money to go into your account yet this is never the case it is usually 5 days.

the transaction sometimes takes 5 days. Many times I had to wait even longer, for a small business it's no good. I am with Sqere now and got the money the next day on my account.

Nightmare helpline, patronising staff that don't help at all.

Had a nightmare experience with the izettle. The App logged me out and I was unable to get back in. I hadn't been warned this might happen and didn't have the password with me. Phoning twice today I ended up in two different head banging conversations with two different staff. The first one kept insisting I had logged out and that I should change my password. He was persistent and simply would not listen or help. The second bloke was also a nightmare. He forced me to log in (old password, which worked because that had never been the problem). Then I queried why they were calling me "Anne" when that isn't my name. They said the account was in that name (the Anne thing is recent, I checked previous contacts with !zettle and they get my name right). It wasn't and even if it were and I had only just noticed I should be able to correct it. The bloke demanded photo ID to correct the mistake, insisting I had registered in that name, as if I don't know my name! I refused. Why bother having security checks if you are then going to argue with people about their names after they are past security and the disputed name is obviously wrong. There were various clues that I was right and he was wrong but I shan't go into it here. He then insisted I close the account. Awful experience with some ghastly horrible unhelpful useless moronic patronising. staff.

Absolutely fantastic but of kit it has mad my business even bigger by having this. So easy to use. And my customers love it as well had so meany good comments about it. Would highly recommend

platform is good. customer service is atrocious. for a new company it is embarrassing how inept the customer service department are. the majority of the time they neglect to even note down that you have spoken to them

Really really impressed so far

Really really impressed so far. Great looking kit, easy to use app, much faster than other card payment systems I've used previously and very reasonably priced too as there don't seem to be the hidden fees that others charge.

payments held with no one bothering to inform us

1) been with izettle over 3 years, have 5 accounts for 5 different shops.
2) payments stopped coming for over a month to one of our accounts.
3) enquired why and was told they needed proof of company address.
4) No requests were asked from us at any time, they just decided to hold the money with out notifying us.
5)None of our other four accounts have been paused and proof of company address was never asked for any of those.
6) I have been away on annual leave for a month with no way of supplying the proof of address and as our shop is 80% card sales now our team cannot pay suppliers, staff are outstanding pay as our banks are empty.
7)we are also now getting fined for going overdrawn.
8) we are opening three more shops this year, because of this terrible service , we will be moving to another supplier.

If i could give them NIL STAR(s) I would.

Ordered a new POS system from Izettle. After reading reviews, i swiftly cancelled.
Was told that the goods had already been dispatched, so just to reject the shipment from the carrier. So I did.

I chased this return of goods for approx two weeks, and was told that they were still with the carrier, despite the carrier confirming otherwise.

Finally, they acknowledged that had the goods, and that a refund request would be 'put in the 'queue', but this would take 30days to be processed.

I referred them to their own refund policy which states 30days from date of goods being received, but this did nothing to expedite.
In fact, I am still outstanding a refund to this day, 40days from date of receipt.

Will they help. NO
Do they care. NO

For a card payments provider, to operate a 'holding policy' of having to wait 30days for a refund to be processed is completely unacceptable, and immoral.

STAY AWAY

Positive..... The app is simple to use. The card reader is handy and connects to most phones making mobile payments easy, card reader is cheap to buy.
Negative.... the customer service line is amongst the worst customer service I've ever encountered in any industry EVER... (take ages to reply to emails or calls, often give the incorrect advice). There are better value for money apps out there (Squared up for example), the fee rates are not that competitive, every so often there is an issue with payments and they are deposited late.

Overall, I would not recommend this service. Sort the customer service out and the business could be so much better.

DO NOT ACCEPT PART PAYMENTS (DEPOSITS)

Was really excited to use this service for my business but it’s been such a disappointment. Please note: they do NOT accept deposit (part payments). Wanting to understand this better, after speaking and emailing them numerous times I have yet to be given any explanation why they don’t accept such payments. I was even told they are not obliged to tell merchants. Really annoying and now I have a useless card reader. Such a shame!

I was a little uneasy about using a…

I was a little uneasy about using a card reader but to be honest it was really easy to get the hang of. I run a mobile catering unit and since I've started taking card payments it's made quite a difference. I should of done it a lot sooner.

30 days for a refund!!

I spoke with i Zettle 7 July, regarding a refund for an amount taken out from my bank account by mistake. Today 26 July no refund, no manager and the refunds takes 30 days. Horrendous customer service and will certainly not be recommending this company to anyone. Quick to take your money but not so quick to refund it. Unacceptable.

What the ....is this so childish.

Someone calls me from a HR department I answer they hang up when I call back they don't answer how childish are they playing like a baby.

Anyone wanting to purchase iZettle don't bother and don't recommend it as they are just an discriminating company with words that never happen

izettle apparently takes colored people (foreigners) in the interview procedure and then rejects them for silly reasons. a real shame about iZettle and the review doesn't lie. I hope this review Gers the attention of iZettle customers. (Netherlands)
