Jewel replaced our old conservatory and…
Jewel replaces our old conservatory and we are delighted with the results. There were issues, problems with our existing frames and doors were not picked up with the survey, but only when a new roof install was attempted. Jewel reacted brilliantly, apologised for not picking this up earlier, and providing us with cost effective options to proceed. The work was delayed but they ensured it was carried out ASAP and to a very high standard. The installers were professional and friendly.
Impressed and would highly recommend them.

Shockingly bad administration and communication
This company has extremely poor administration and communication. They started off poorly by missing an entire bay of windows, which was identified by their surveyor on his first of many visits. The window plan that was provided was extremely unclear and difficult to understand.
We are working with a project manager who is supposed to be their point of contact. Every single time they get in touch, they call my husband who then refers them to the project manager and has to provide his email and/or phone number. They don't seem to have a way to add him as a contact.
The worst problem is that they have not yet ordered a large sliding door for the back of the house even though other windows have been installed already. We only recently found out that they need to do another survey before it can actually be ordered. This means we are moving into the house and it is likely to have a gaping opening in the back where that door should be. They have not been able to provide information on what the lead time is for the door, because the people who call me and my husband (and then get referred on to the project manager) do not know what door we ordered or any of the specifications.
This issue is still ongoing. At this point I would highly recommend steering clear of Jewel Windows.

Excellent fitters and builder
We've used Jewel a few times now.
Five star fitters, excellent job: polite, tidy even helped quickly fix a couple of issues with a different door and window.
Builder (GERL) who fitted the new lintel also very good.
The only thing that made me think about giving 4 stars was for having to chase dates, and perhaps they could have determined that a lintel was required sooner. But thought it would have been unfair because the work has been done really well.
Will use again.

We had David fit 3 new outside doors…
We had David fit 3 new outside doors today, they all look absolutely superb and the work carried out was second to none, very clean very polite. He said he reckoned he would finish by 1630 and he actually finished at 1625 we kept him supplied with coffee and biscuits as well, we would recommend Jewel to anyone it is so important to o support family business.

Love our new windows
Andy and Kyle did a great job installing our windows for us. They didn’t have an easy job with an old 1930s house with rotting window frames but they handled everything professionally and always had a solution for us.
They did it all in 3 days, as they said they would and were always friendly and understanding - despite them coming across a few issues with the old window bays!
We would give the installation process 5 stars but we’ve given 4 stars in total because despite loving our new windows we had a few issues with the communication from the Jewel sales team having to wait multiple weeks for responses to some questions.
