Just IT is a good company. I have experience similar training courses where much is promised and little is delivered. Just IT provided me with exactly what they promised. I knew a bit before I started and when I left I knew enough to guide my own learning trajectory to my first software development job. Like everything, you get what you put into it. Just IT supported me through the job search and were very helpful overall.

Good Option

The Developer Professional Programme is a comprehensive course on Frontend(HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Backend(ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework) along with the practical session and individual projects.
The course doesn't include emerging technologies(like WebAPI, microservices, Azure introduction), but I would recommend the course for those who would like to enter the IT sector, as it gives you a foundation for the same.

Distinction and currently still with the same employer a year on with a new title

I completed the Infrastructure technician course and achieved Distinction, it certainly was not easy but with the tools and support given it is more than achievable.

I enjoyed my time there, I did initially have a issue and considered leaving the course but after voicing these concerns I was pointed into the right direction. Having David Spinks as my coach was great and I am certain I would not have achieved what I did without him.

I strongly recommend anyone that has interest in this filed to take their first step into the industry with Just IT. I had no previous IT job before starting at Just IT in 2018 at 19, I am now 21 with the role of Service Desk Team Leader and a fully qualified 2nd line technician. I can say with confidence I would not be where I am today without Just IT and the company I am still working for.

Having been placed into my career by Just IT 13 years ago, I remember one of the recruiters tell a group of us that JustIT would be with us throughout our careers. Now finding myself in need of assistance once again, I reached out to Simon (founder) who took the time out to personally help and guide me through my next steps. I've always felt that personal touch with Just IT right from the start and its still there.

First the positives:

- Incredibly friendly and approachable staff who are all easy to contact and quick to reply.
- Trainers with incredible passion for IT and endless subject knowledge (Andy and Darron).
- Farah. Farah is amazing. Was very quick to ease my anxiety when lockdown was announced 2 weeks before the course was due to start. (We were able to do the training courses online.) He has provided constant support throughout the course and provided workshops on job searching, interview prep and CV writing.
- Excellent classrooms with everything you need.

Negatives:

- The course pace is very quick. The 2 weeks training and then 3 weeks of homestudy is very short to learn everything needed to pass the CompTIA exams. I extended my homestudy so I was fully confident before taking the exams. On a positive side: Just IT were incredibly flexible with this approach and enrolled my on a later Windows course.
- Marketing team (job hunting team). Unfortunately I had no experience with the marketing team due to the lockdown. Not Just IT's fault so not a major negative, but would've liked to have seen them/heard from them at least.

Conclusion:

Would definitely recommend Just IT. Extremely hard times for them at the moment due to the lockdown and possibly future lockdowns but they have really gone out of their way to help and assist me in any way they can. I've also got a job as a first line technician, so their course really does work :)

I joined Just IT for the Software…

I joined Just IT for the Software Developer Programme right before the pandemic started, unfortunately, they had to postpone the course. But I was able to complete the course by the end of August/20. It took me a little over one month after that to get my first job offer. The course itself is very comprehensive teaching you from HTML/CSS/Javascript and C# to How to properly present yourself and how to interview. I would give 5 stars but I think because of the pandemic, everything was a little bit messy at the beginning during the front-end part of the training. And in my opinion, the Javascript class should be at least 1 week longer. Its too much content to absorb in only 1 week, especially when you're new to programming. Apart from that everything was great, Tanveer, Eugenia and Chris were awesome and very supportive during the whole process helping me to keep going with the learning and during the job application process! I really appreciate my time with JustIt and they helped me to open the door my career transition to software development.

Definitely going to refer Just IT to friends

I did my NPP course earlier this year. Classes were well planned and informative. In terms of recruitment, Bill has been very helpful throughout the process, checking up on me and giving advices. He was also quick to respond to any queries I had. Overall I had a positive experience. Definitely going to refer Just IT to my friends.

Taken up an apprenticeship with this…

Taken up an apprenticeship with this company. Placed in a job role unrelated to IT. Constantly expressed this to 'Apprenticeship Coach' however no change was made. Got to final interview and failed due to lack of IT exposure. Still awaiting to complete my apprenticeship but now being ignored by apprenticeship coach.

Finished my apprenticeship today with Just IT after what felt like a very quick 15/16 months! I just wanted to save a massive thanks to everyone at Just IT, thanks to David Spinks & Paul Crisp specifically for being such as great help and guiding me through the apprenticeship. Thank you to the trainers who assisted me, Touffik, Darron & Everett in passing my exams much appreciated!

The staff at Just IT are very professional and are always considerate and understanding with any issues or assistance that you need, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like a jump start in their career in IT :)

Good all-round package

I did the developers training early this year. It was well-rounded course giving good foundation on all the important and relevant technologies needed to start a career in Software Development. The trainer, Tanveer was very good in keeping it interactive and ensuring everyone understood the concepts. Best part were the projects at the end of the course which allowed to practically apply all that was done on the course plus with the freedom to explore more. I found the course helped refresh and update my skills and also allowed me to get a job immediately after completion also thanks to support and advice from Chris in regards to career support and interview preparation. Also thanks to Rickmond for the valuable introduction to the course and how the whole process works.

Smooth process, with perfect results

I went through the web developer program at the beginning of the year, my knowledge of code was minimal. I found the technical training to be excellent, I learned a lot and fast, and the job coaching was informative and effective. JustIT helped me find work (even during COVID!) and I am now working full time as a junior developer. A huge thanks to Chris, Rickmond and Tanveer.
