Lastminute.com don’t even deserve 1…

Lastminute.com don’t even deserve 1 start. Booked a flight return from London to Germany via them, flight was with Ryanair. Did not received my boarding pass online as requested and payed extra for. Couldn’t contact them either as of deliberately they can’t not be contacted when I insert my booking number or contact number. I ended up paying over £110 at the airport with Ryanair because of it. You will never get a piece of mind and an honest and reliable service with them. That the third time that I had experienced this with them. Pay extra somewhere else and have a service that is transparent and reliable. To avoid at all cost. Please avoid them, or you will learn the hard way.

Shame I could not give less than 1…

Shame I could not give less than 1 star! Disgusting customer service and don’t deserve customers. Booked a trip to Dublin to fly out this Sunday evening and come back next Wednesday evening. They send me an email over a week ago saying my flight back is now changed from 19:10pm to 07:10am! A 3 day trip now cut by half a day! No reason why, BA flights are flying out of Dublin all day so why put us on an early morning flight. Rang numerous times every time taking half an hour to get through, promised to update me on my change of flight request within 48 hours, not heard anything, asked to speak to a manager and said manager will call me later in the day, surprise surprise no call! To lose half a day on a 3 day trip is pointless going so I won’t be. Thanks last minute, this is THE LAST time I will ever book with you again and thanks for wreaking my trip. Out of pocket by £450. DO not use this shambolic non customer focused company

As other people have said, there is no way to cancel bookings, even hotels that offer 'free cancellation'

You'd think one of the original 'dot coms' would have a way to do it via the WebSite, but know you have to phone up. So far waited +1hr...

No communication

Shocking lack of customer service. Impossible to get through to anyone on the phone (waiting a number of times >1hrs for it to be cut off) and no responses via social media either. Utterly useless. I've contacted the hotel directly who has agreed to move the dates of our holiday (for free) because of coronavirus but they need LM to formally request it from their end, however no way of communicating with LM for them to fix this.

I would also give it zero stars. Although I made a free cancellation booking, the website disabled the cancel tab and no one answers the phone. This is a strategy to bill customers in advance and cause them distress by not offering any solution in cancelling a free-cancellation booking.

Absolutely rubbish!

No problem in taking a payment in seconds, but when you try to call them and wait over an hour to be cut off every single time its just not right :( will obviously never be using them again and stick to booking.com where cancellation is instant and a great service. Do they honestly think anyone wants to cancel their holiday? surely in these circumstances they should allow to cancel the booking online...

Had to lose GBP 700 because I had no…

Had to lose GBP 700 because I had no assistance. Wanted to change flights (leaving earlier!) and nobody has come back to me with a solution. Ended up booking the same flight twice. Will sue them. And I even paid for the special assistance package! Hilarious.

Shame I cannot give zero - most unhelpful company I have ever dealt with - Promised a call back within half an hour - 3 hours later still no call back! being on hold to speak to someone for over an hour to be cut off!

Cannot get through to Customer Service at all. I have spent 4 lots of 1hr 2 mins each time on the phone, just waiting. Unfortunately, the web site and app does not include hotel changes, so this directs you to call. Never going to use this company again,

My experience was so bad

My experience was so bad, I've booked a ticket with extra options and didn't get anything, I am not able to cancel my flight and no able to call them, there is no any contact to do that. all the numbers provided in the website link back to the website, it is not possible to do anything a useless recursion. They are making fun of their customers.

Useless

Useless. My flight is next day, I have booked one extra baggage via lastminute, it is not showing up in the airlines website and the boarding pass. The person who spoke to me told this will be added to the airlines website within couple of hours. 5 hours passed, I have my flight next day morning, the customer service is not reachable for more than 45 minutes. Dont ever prefer this useless website.

Cancellation due to event being cancelled

Book a night in Munich to go and watch Chelsea match, unfortunately it has been called off due to the corona virus. I paid £480 in total for one night including flights (for me and a friend) and when I look to cancel before we go (as the game is playing behind closed doors) I’m due a refund of £68 minus £30 admin fee (£38). I defiantly won’t be recommending or using last minute.com ever again.

The hotel was awful

The hotel was awful! The mattresses felt like they’d been born in the 60’s and there was no hot water! So disappointed! However the man who served us breakfast couldn’t have been nicer. What a shame.

Disappointed is nothing compared to my feeling toward them.
I have been in contact with them for 4 days, I have called them so many times and emailed them, I have done step by step what they asked me to do, and they never worked at my case. they pretended they did, and they made fun of me and of my time. Unacceptable. I am not going to let it go, I will continue calling them until I get my rebooking and they will pay for it. Shame on them. Shame on the service, Management zero call back. customer service told me "not to worry" during my request but they haven't done anything. I do not accept it.

So disappointed with LastMinute.com

So disappointed with LastMinute - we booked a weekend break to Krakow - our 2nd visit to this amazing city - but as the Polish government decided to close all museums and places of cultural interest because of the Coronavirus we decided not to go as our organised trips had been cancelled by Krakow Tours and they gave us a full refund - so we called LastMinute for advise on how to cancel our booking as we could not do this online as our flights were with RyanAir - Firstly the automated phone system is maddening and just loops around and makes it so complicated to actually speak to someone - when I eventually got through I was told they could not just cancel the hotel for us but could assist us with the cancellation for a £30 admin charge - seriously £30 - I said No Thanks - so we called the Hotel in Krakow who were helpful but they could not cancel it for us either - it seems the holiday we booked through LastMinute has a middle man called HotelBeds who we have to contact to make the cancellation for the hotel - well what a joke that is HotelBeds not answering calls and not responding to emails so we have not been able to cancel our hotel booking and get the money back - we accepted the loss of the flight costs as it’s RyanAir but the hotel cancellation should have been a straightforward process - so angry that LastMinute will only help with cancellations if you pay them a fee - bad service won’t be booking any trips using LastMinute ever again - they should make it possible to cancel hotels through their website irrespective of who the airline booking is with - angry disappointed customer - we will be going back to Krakow this year but will be booking it directly with hotels and airlines - no 2nd and 3rd middle man !!
